Can’t believe the Kings and Lakers are going to be fighting it out for that 8 seed. Just like the good old days. And there’s a possibility we may end up getting the loser share’s of the purse. The prize is not a ring but getting squashed by the Warriors. Chris Webber is rolling in his grave.

Well the Celtics just blew an 28 point lead to the F'N Clippers and lost by 11. And Kyrie hurt his knee and may not play against the Sixers on Tuesday. But that's O.K., they're TOTALLY gonna trade for Anthony Davis and he'll TOTALLY want to stay here and Kyrie's TOTALLY going to resign. F**k! But hey at least they have the Kings' pick this year. That's gotta be top 5 right? Let me see how they're doing...F**K!!! After last season ended I said I couldn't wait for this season to start. Now I just want it to end. The good news is I'm a Boston sports fan so I can just watch World Series and Super Bowl highlights and feel better. You know nobody is going to feel sorry for you as a Boston fan right lol I know and I don't expect it. I always say it's better if your teams are hated than pitied. Anyway, yeah for as good as they lookhaveed in the 1st half, they looked equally as shit in the 2nd half. Way too long in the season for them to still not know what type of team they are and too much inconsistencies which is surprising as I consider Stevens to be the best head coach in the league
Yeah they often start off great playing together but then devolve into hero ball and the offense stalls. And their defense has been atrocious especially with Baynes out. They just seem to have no effort and keep leaving shooters wide open at the 3 point line. I'd hoped most of these issues were in the past with their 10-1 run but they've seemed to return with a vengeance. Also, I think some of the shine has come off Stevens. I keep seeing the same mistakes over and over and I wonder if he's having trouble reaching them. He's also having trouble settling on a rotation. In fairness there are a lot of guys demanding minutes but he can't keep trying to make everyone happy. And now Marcus Morris is bitching about "Guys not having fun." Oh this looks promising.

I never imagined that LeBron could go to the Lakers and they would miss the playoffs
Shit going be wicked if they do miss the playoffs and Magic will have the biggest pressure on him in his entire basketball life because that failure will be on his head
Losing the Kawhi and AD sweepstakes f***ed us up. There’s a reason why Pop and Demps didn’t want anything to do with Lonzo, Hart, Kuzma and Ingram. Because without Bron they’re the same shit team of last season. Magic and Jeannie, drafted worse than Jim and Kupchak. The worst mistakes were not trading Ingram in a package for Boogie and drafting Lonzo. Meanwhile Russell and Randle are having career years. Bad drafting and bad leadership got us here. Only way they make the playoffs is if the clippers collapse without Harris and if we win the last twenty games that are left. I wouldn't even say bad drafting
More like impatience. Hart is good, Kuzma is good and Ball/Ingram are inconsistent but I like their potential and Ball needs to be on a team where he will get the ball
Russell and Imgram are both shining outside of L.A.
The roster was bad this year and I said that from jump. LeBron needed to change and he didn't so this whole shit went left and add on no one on the team is specialist which is what he likes.
I put some of this on LeBron because for as high as his basketball I.Q. is, he refuses to adapt to others and majority of the blame is on Magic who thinks he can say his name and L.A. and everyone will be over the moon

But occasionally he's just Good, and too often he's injured. They'll have to make him a top 3 paid player to get him long term, and do the same with Anthony Davis, I don't think the money is there. YOu lose Horfords contract but you still have Hayward. And what if Tatum turns into what they hope he can? If the Celtics trade for Davis Tatum will be part of the package. I can't see the Pelicans doing the trade without him.

De’Aaron Fox is John Wall but a better shooter and probably faster...and instead of him we drafted a point guard who is either injured or inconsistent. One of the worst free throw shooters of the decade, to tell you the truth is a two man race between him and Dwight Howard.

The team is too deep in talent
If I had one complaint about Ainge, he doesn't plunge like he should as the man has picks and players he could unload to do different things but he keeps everything close to the vest
Stevens is stuck between a rock and hard place. Kyrie is in and out the line up and while Gordon is healthy, he was always going to take a year to get his basketball legs back under him so this season was a wash but Stevens has to play him and can't just sit him.
He wants to get everyone mins but sadly there should be some tough luck losers on the team because it's deep and you can't get everyone time.
It's going be interesting what direction Ainge goes in as I think he wants to keep Kyrie and go after AD but that will drastically change the team as I don't see Horford coming back and you are going to lose guys like Rozier to free agency as well as Tatum/Brown in a potential trade for AD

They’re not good enough to have a winning record without Lebron. Maybe it’s Walton maybe it’s the system but something isn’t working. They can’t afford patience when Magic and Lebron are running the risk of having a stain in their resume. f*** it just fire Walton, it can’t get worse. Apparently Magic is gonna call a meeting...and probably lie about not wanting to trade them.

Getting to the playoffs well ahead of schedule, denying LeBron (and LA), and then denying the Celtics a lottery pick is enough to happily take that squash

I don't think Walton is a bad coach but he's clearly in over his head coaching LeBron and having to manage the expectation of this team. Walton was brought in to grow with this team and he nor the team have the time table to grow like they thought they would
They don't make the playoffs, Walton is fired automatically but he will bounce back elsewhere. Kidd seems to be the popular choice but he comes with his own baggage. A name could been big here if he wasn't such a stooge is Derek Fisher. Him being Phil puppet in NY def hurt his standing in the NBA but he's a guy who I think could be a really good head coach one day one of the only men to ever hold Kobe respect. A few years in the WNBA should help him with the Sparks
Apparently they said Magic is going to give hugs at the end. Like c'mon cut the shit, what can you say to these grown ass men that's going make them feel better. It's no secret you tried to trade them, just let it go and focus on rest of the season

I'm watching the Duke/Virginia game from earlier, and Zion is a unique threat. When he gets a steal, opposing teams hustle to get back on offense. Nobody wants to be anywhere near him.

Also people are sleeping on Cam Reddish. I think Zion/RJ will go 1-2 in the draft this year but Cam will not be far behind them
In saying that tho, can't sleep on Ja Morant from Murray St as he's giving people that "small school" but he's a really good player kind of vibe that Dame Lillard had

Morant dropped 40 on a school in the town I work in. He's been a big name in these parts, but ESPN is finally catching on.

We would’ve done better dragging Phil out of the retirement home smh. Walton dropped the ball, wish Kidd would’ve come yesterday.

Trying to develop talent with LeBron on the team was destined to fail from day 1. LeBron makes one kind of player look good, and that’s a spot up 3 point shooter. There’s a reason why anyone with actual established talent doesn’t want to play with him anymore. The secret is out. Bosh was willing to marginalize his game for Bron, but Kyrie couldn’t take it, and most stars would likely feel the same way.
Now, not only is the team so reliant on Bron that they can’t win without him, but they wasted a year of development time for Ingram, Ball, etc. The young players won’t get better, the team won’t be drafting high anymore, and Bron’s just going to get older. The only way this can end is by gutting their roster to trade for a star. Otherwise it will be more of the same.

I think it's a combo of things but at the end of the day I think the Lakers also over estimated how the rest of the league views their young guys as trade assets. Kuzma and Hart are solid players but they aren't guys teams will take as center pieces in a trade for a star, nor have either Ingram or Ball really shown even enough in flashes to take a chance on them being that either. Think the Lakers honestly would be best served packaging the guys together for role players and go all in on signing someone.

Everything starts with LeBron and Magic and they both got to do better in their regards because as i've mentioned many times before LeBron is the great of the generation and has one of the highest basketball IQs ever so instead of changing his game up he's full force and everyone else is suffering and falling back
