The irony here is that this is the first time the Knicks actually seem to have any positive direction, yet Dolan still finds a way to make the optics look terrible. Knox was a good pick, the KP trade made sense, and now they have two max slots plus a top 5 pick. Dolan should just stay in his office. The Knicks are in the best spot they have been in for a while now. As long as they don’t spend the money on Tobias Harris or Middleton. Dolan is a f**ing shame. Talking about the fans ambushed him when he can't take criticism like a lot of owners. This is NY, people aren't going to be happy
Also I have no problem with Harris and Middleton but not for the max and only if they are a complimentary piece. So if they get Kyrie and KD then maybe you can try get a complimentary piece as the 3rd guy
Knicks are in a prime spot to do something really good that can make this team competitive for the next 5 years. However, get a slip up and you are f***ed for even longer

Draft looking a little rough rn. Barrett's shot selection is total ass, Duke is playing better with Reddish on the bench. I'd only feel good at the top of the lottery if I got Zion or Morant. In the last few years, you could pick 3-8/9 and still end up with a great prospect, but these guys are mad suspect. Someone out of Cleveland, Phoenix, and NY is gonna be really disappointed. Possibly two based on how the lotto balls fall.

Ja and Zion are your "superstar potential" players meanwhile Barrett could be but he's losing ground. Cam I think will turn heads in the NBA ala a Devin Booker type of player but he could also fall off real hard considering he's been very inconsistent in College
After the top 3 there is a drop off in talent where they are contributors but have massive question marks. This is not a top heavy nor can I qualify it as a quality draft

If you watched the whole UNC game, you saw RJ being 20% brilliant and 80% idiotic. Reddit had a great comment about him, "I wish someone looked at me the way RJ Barrett looks at the rim in a 1-on-4." Dude is like a really athletic SG version of Antoine Walker (and I loved Toine). At one point sprinted the ball upcourt to the 3 point like to take a contested three pointer with 23 seconds left on the shot clock. This guy is dumb.

And that's why he's going to fit into the NBA because the game no longer has smart players outside of a LeBron James, CP3 etc...
Players today go as fast they can and leave the basketball smarts in the back and it's sad to see. An NBA team is going to try to fix him tho but I do like the athletic Antonie Walker comparison.

There is a difference between Klay taking a 28-foot uncontested three and RJ sprinting into an off-balance, contested three. Pace is the new wave, but RJ's shot selection transcends eras.

Westbrook and Harden do that and they've earned the right as MVP's but they do, do it a lot
To go with a lesser name, Tim Hardaway Jr. He pulls up from 30 with 18 seconds left in the clock
Shot selection in the NBA is just way down and the "smart" thing now is to get more possessions as opposed to better shot selection

RJ isn't Harden or Westbrook. I've made the Hardaway comp before. RJ's shot selection is going to be what makes him JR or Hardaway and not a much better player. He has All Star potential, but I'd bet heavily on him never achieving it.

He's going to probably be in the JR Smith, Jamal Crawford class of very talented player with All Star potential but will never make it there. Solid career but he's best as your 4th best guy on the team as compared to the 1st or 2nd best

This is the worst part of the season. Teams locked up playoff spots or are in full-swing tanks. Guys getting rested more often or playing low minutes. A bunch of Kelly Oubres taking over games. Bring on round 1 of the playoffs already.

Man, this Western Conference seedings race is something else. The Clippers are currently the 8th seed, and they're only 2 games out of the 4 seed.

Giannis the last 33 games is averaging 28/12.5/6 while shooting 57% from the field and 1 three a game on 33.7% from deep. He's evolving, faster than my Bulbasaur at the beginning of Pokemon Red.

James Harden right now is the most unarguable player thanks to his ability to get to the line (some flops and refs calls) but that step back is also deadly
Giannis is not that far behind him. Teams can't stop him from getting to the paint, his midrange is pretty good and the 3 is coming along. If he knocks the 3 down with consistency the league has a big problem in him and the fact that he has the mentality of wanting to stay in Milwaukee to win a chip could appeal to other plays

Spurs win their 9th in a row beating Golden State, and have also beaten the Bucks, Nuggets and Blazers during this run. Derrick White is the latest "who the f*** is this guy?" random stud found by the Spurs. I'm feeling good!
