And this is how heartbreak happens when the hopes get up lol Good for him if he decide to go back but one hopes people realize this isn't the 25 and 10 Cousins and as well Cousins has to understand this isn't his team anymore I know. I already got my hopes up for a few brief minutes when Bol Bol fell to 40, and look how that turned out!

Eddy Curry is still a large large man. Looks more like Oliver Miller out there.

Kawhi as expected declines his player option in favor of getting a max contract but now it depends on where. Will it be still in Toronto or a potentially Clippers or somewhere else

Long term the Clippers seems like a better place to win titles. Raptors will have roster limitations issues 2020 and beyond

Because of how good this team is together a lot of these guys are gonna get insane offers and the Raptors are gonna either have to pay guys way beyond their true market value or lose a piece and hope the replacements work better. Like if their paying big money to older Lowery or 15- 20 Mill a year to Van Vleet it's gonna limit how good the talent is around a Kawhi-Siakim team.

Oh, we're going to lose pieces, but with the good guy we have controlling who we sign, we're going to add pieces that will do just fine as replacement pieces.

They are holding them back this year badly. If Gasol opts into his contract that eats all their cap and they can't get rid of Ibaka or Lowry contracts. They wouldn't really be able to add impact talent through free agency this year, only sign a vet for the mid level and fill out the roster with the minimum level And the extra year isn't really a concern for a guy like Kawhi. He can't be offered the super max by virtue of being traded from the Spurs to Toronto so that eliminates the $220 mill he could have made if he had that extra year. However, still like a $40 million difference in 5 for $190 and and 4 for $140 I believe. He's getting paid so that extra year worth of money isn't really an advantage as it would seem

Apparently the Kings are getting a meeting with Tobias Harris at the start of free agency.
Barnes upgrade? I’m okay with it.
Keep Barnes, small ball PF, Bagley to C? Does he even translate to small ball PF? I hate it. Bagley got mauled by centers when they experimented with him there at the end of the season.
I remember back in the day when he was in Detroit the Kings courted him, so he’s not new to their radar.

Ric Bucher says KD and Kyrie have met up twice to discuss possible future in playing together on a team
KD is also really pissed at the Warriors with his injury

It’s either Barnes comes cheaper and can come off the bench and give Tobias the money or they pay one or the other but they not signing both to big money

Chris Paul continues to say he never asked for a trade from Houston and he is happy there
You should be able to believe him but you can't lol. After that shit they pulled with DJ with the Clippers and CP3 demeanor in general he comes across as sneaky or more so a bullshitter

Knicks expected to roll over Cap space if they strikeout on Kawhi, Irving, KD tier free agents
OMG they are actually thinking smart. I'd take it a step further and add a one year bad contract like Parsons if you can get a pick attached to it. Cut him or be able trade him next season on an expiring deal that won't effect the cap
