Jabari Parker news
As we know Kings are in heavy on him. Teams like Philly and Lakers could be in on him if they miss out on LeBron
Pacers, Hawks, Suns, Nets and Jazz could also be interested

I'd trust him slightly more than the national media, which is basically agents leaking "OMG THE KINGS ARE INTERESTED" to drive their client's price up. If the Kings sign LaVine and trade Buddy I'd be as happy as I've been in a long time. Can't stand Hield.

If the Kings sign LaVine and trade Buddy I'd be as happy as I've been in a long time. Can't stand Hield. With his knee injuries he's better as a 4 because his foot speed can keep up with them plus he fits the small 4 player mold well. However, he can still play the 3 and I see Lavine as 50/50 because the Bulls aren't going to let him walk away after they acquired him and Dunn in the Butler trade
I personally view Lavine as a Gerald Green type of player than a Vince Carter but he's young and people will buy into his potential. I mean if i'm the Bulls I let him walk because he's not going to be worth the max whatever team offers him
Buddy Hield gets slept on a bit. He's a "2 for 1" kind of player meaning he will give you half the points for his total mins. As a sixth man that's valuable giving him 25 mins and you're getting 13 to 14 points a night but I understand the hate because Vlade tried to sell him as a star and actually compared him to Steph Curry

The Kings can't quite offer the max because Garrett Temple opted in, so I don't think they'll even be able to pry him away from Chicago. He's intruiging, but I'd rather throw huge contracts elsewhere... Like Jabari Parker, if he could exclusively be a three. Sign Hezonja to a reasonable contract and save your big space for next year when Koufos, Temple, and Randolph are all off the books. (All Vlade special signings, exactly mediocre players paid far more than they're worth) As for Hield, he could explode next season into the best sixth man in the league and I'd still despise him. I'll never let go of the DMC trade; and the hate falls on Buddy. It's not rational or fair to him, but it is what it is.

As I told you before I get the love for DMC but it's far better to not have him on the team than on it because he will never win a championship as your number 1 best player. Now they f***ed up the trade no doubt and didn't get anywhere near his value but the franchise was always going to be stagnant with him there.
However, the Hezonja signing I agree with. I believe the Kings need to go after young players like him and Alex Len. Throw them some semi decent dollars, one year $5 million with options to make a little more next season $8 million that would be team friendly. You take a flyer on those type of young players looking for an opportunity and if they still turn out to be bums then it won't kill the team as of right now I would say Jabari should be plan A and if he don't work then you try to get some young players who haven't realized their potential and see if they can play hard
I'm just throwing this out there but I wouldn't be surprised if they got a reunion with Isiah Thomas. He needs to rebuild his value but if he's healthy he's exciting to watch. A team like the Kings is a perfect fit for him where he is the only voice on the team and can get players to listen to his BS that veterans aren't trying to hear

IT's another guy I can't stand. Lol His everywhere except Boston selfish ass "ME FIRST" demeanor Napoleonic little man's complex isn't something I want anywhere near the bunch of young guys. I could see him getting signed then immediately campaigning he start over Fox because he's the greatest basketball player to ever touch a rock, and also he's overlooked because he's small and was disrespected by getting drafted last. Talented, don't get me wrong he's absolutely talented. Just don't like the guy one bit. --- And as for DMC... just imagine if they drafted correctly in just one of the following drafts... Klay instead of Jimmer. Lillard instead of Thomas Robinson. Giannis instead of Ben McLemore. You could argue they slightly made up for that by drafting the previously mentioned IT with the 60th pick. How did they capitalize on that gen? They gave him away. They literally gave him away. For a trade exception they didn't use, so they gave him away. I don't like him, but he's worth more than NOTHING, especially 5 years ago! It was not DMC's fault the Kings sucked with him. The team absolutely let him down, and not the other way around. Can't forget firing the only good coach we've had the past 10 years, the only coach to ever truly "connect" with him, because DMC caught meningitis.

Media coverage heating up wit LeBron out in L.A. before the start of free agency tonight He's apparently having dinner with Magic before free agency begins. I'm worried. George apparently is partying with Westbrook tonight, doesn't sound like he's leaving okc.

George you stay in Oklahoma and you'll get nothing except embarrassments and humiliations. You can't win nothing with Westbrook. Everybody who's ever left Westbrook is better because of it.

The problem in saying that is despite the Westbrook jokes OKC is a better team as constituted right now then Lakers are Lakers look prime to grab a free agent or two but as I said before let’s not get ahead of ourselves. This could turn into shit real fast for them

I can't believe it looks like George is staying with Westbrook. Whatever. As long as it helps LeBron decide to bail on LA. (Srry Laker fans) --- The Ringer is saying DeMarcus to LA is gaining traction however. And with that rumor, I take it back. I want LeBron and Boogie on the same team. Then imagine if they then get Kawhi after that. IF Boogie can return to pre-injury form, LeBron/Kawhi/Boogie >>> LeBron/Kawhi/George, IMO.

Mikan, Wilt, Kareem, Shaq, DMC would carry the legacy of great centers...just chill a little bit, maybe anger management.

The thing with the Lakers is that they're a pretty garbage team right now. They have some promising young players, but I don't think Ball's one of them.
Yeah, one Lebron James is going to turn around their fortunes significantly, but unlike in the East, he's gonna have teams like Golden State and Houston to contend with in the earlier rounds, and I wouldn't count out Portland, OKC, New Orleans, or Utah, either. The West is much better than the East and if I was Lebron, I wouldn't take my talents to Hollywood without a guaranteed supporting cast.

Odee foul but funny. It will be interesting to see what type of contract George signs if he is staying
Durant will sign another one an one deal. It's a one year deal with a player option. This is essentially done so Warriors can get his bird rights and Durant can be eligible for the super max next year
It's going to go under the radar but considering Klay contract is up next season too I doubt Warriors give both guys the super max nor can they afford it. This will truly test if Klay is willing to take a discount to stay with the Warriors tho he won't have to
Considering he may potentially have his 4th ring by this time next year it will be interesting to see if he stays or if he decides to go along his own path which would mean having his own team to build and continuing to fill his HOF resume

This is gonna f*** the warriors long term. Draymond already said that he's not taking a discount. Maybe Jordan Bell is supposed to take his place?

Yea, LeBron will make the Lakers better but let's not underestimate how truly strong the west is 1-8 if not 1-10. Playoff runs won't be a cakewalk and if he joins the Lakers and stay as they are now they will be the 4th-5th best team in the West and even with Kawhi they still aren't better than Houston or GS.
Reports keep coming out tho that LeBron is willing to join L.A. without the immediate pieces right now though he has to know that his clock is ticking and he can't wait 2 years waiting for a championship team to form.
