Does Paul George WANT to win? OKC with Westbrook/George/Melo/Adams and potentially a decent bench is better than Lakers with LeBron/Kawhi or LeBron/Cousins. Yes, Lakers have young pieces but that's what they are young pieces who will now be thrust into the spotlight against a veteran OKC team

I make fun of Westbrook as much as the next guy but from a pure basketball perspective this was his best choice
Lakers as they are right now aren't a championship team and even if they got LeBron and Kawhi I still have OKC as a better team than them with the key factor being Steven Adams as a legit piece for OKC
It's gonna be the same exact team as last year only older without any significant addition. Their bench is also putrid. Me salty right now. They need a scorer for the bench which they can entice some players with this team

A team with no all stars I might add.

Vlade's probably asleep with his landline unplugged. I know I shouldn't expect any Sacramento news tonight.
Let's see if I get surprised.

I'm not saying OKC will win a championship but when you are judging George decision he made the best decision today he could have made

I think I disagree 100%. You don't win with Westbrook. You win with LeBron (see; Cleveland making the Finals just recently)

Nah the best option would've been to team with the greatest player of his generation in a market that would attract big names. Paul George? He's not even Ringo....

So CP0 is staying put.
Those f***ers are one piece away from a championship. Just trade Ryan Anderson's useless ass.

The team as constituted TODAY is not winning a championship and neither is OKC for that matter
Both are chasing Houston and GS but a team of George/Westbrook/Adams/Melo is better than LeBron/George/ and a bunch of young pieces that they will trade or keep
Also this is the Western Conference and not the East so while LeBron got there last year it won't be as easy this year

Like with the Lakers and Deng they will have to surrender multiple picks to get a team to take on that contract and even then that isn't a guarantee a team will want to ruin their cap this early in free agency

He banned.
