My pc is not turning on no matter what I do. Luckily for me, the Wii's web browser beta is out now. Otherwise I couldn't post. I'm posting from my Wii if you didn't figure that out.

Quick question: Is every connection plugged in? I've had to deal a few times with the tower's plug-in not in and it causing all sorts of fun. So, check every connection, from the wall to the final output (the monitor) and see if they are actually plugged in or if something came loose.

Everything is plugged in. My pc was working yesterday... Hmm....... do you have a breaker box in your immediate vincinity? I think that one of your fuses may be blown.

No fuse is blown. My monitor still works fine, the only part not turning on is the main box.

Could very well be the power source inside the main tower, then. That might be replaceable by you, or certainly by a tech.

Sadly, I doubt it. My pc can't be upgraded(or have parts replaced) at all.

It has the smallest hard drive EVER! Which doesn't mean that the power source can't be changed. Take it to a tech, have them look and give you an estimate. Hell, it might be time to get a better machine anyway.

My step-dad is a tech, and even he tried upgrading it a few months ago. The damned thing refused every model of the upgrade. I would be happy to get a new pc, but I can't afford one.

Uprgrade generally refers to software. The power source would be hardware. Give that part a whirl.
I'm well aware of the problems with bargain basement machines (my dad still swears by them), so please don't think I'm doubting you, but checking all problems first is the wisest approach.
