Football (soccer) jerseys: currently about 50 (half of them are unofficial, at times crappy, replicas though
Formula 1 1/43 models, focusing on F1-Crap material. Too bad some of the "best" cars aren't available or are ridiculously expensive.
Formula 1 magazines from 1993 to 2004. Stopped when I realized I didn't have more room for them. I'll try to get rid of the collection, but they are worth nothing (bar the Senna's death issues)

Traffic lights. I used to collect baseball cards, but stopped in the mid-90's (still have them somewhere).

Vintage Monster toys. If you were a chick, I'd marry you right now. I guess I could try the gay thing. I dont know. Let me think on it. As for me, I collect Godzilla toys....I've spent thousands on them, most come imported from Japan, a lot at $100+ a pop. Godzilla/horror movie posters, but I dont have many just yet (So far my 'crown jewels' are an original Godzilla vs Space Godzilla movie poster from Japan, and an original Dawn of the Dead poster that I got signed by Tom Savini) Classic Superstars wrestling figures. I dont care about owning everyone, though, I just buy guys I liked/thought were funny. T-shirts I think are cool. Oh, and I thought about it. Sorry. I wont go gay for your monster stuff. But I will murder you and steal it all.

Roddy Piper stuff. I have all the action figures and every wrestling magazine he has ever been on. Even old Apter mags from the early 80's. Old matches with Roddy from Portland and Mexico and NWA and the rest. All his t-shirts and all his movies on vhs and dvd.
80'sHorror dvds. I like the cheesiest, stupidest, boob filled horror films. LOL just last night I watched "Chopping Mall". Much props on that Horror figure pics a couple pages back.

vintage baseball cards (anything 1970's and earlier). first set I completed was the 1973 topps set which I finished this past summer, and am now working on the 1959 topps baseball set. like a few people here have said, I too collected in the early 90's, but got out about '96 or '97. I got back into the hobby a few years back to finish the sets I worked on as a kid, and got interested in the vintage cards. yeah, remember the days where those cards we collected in the 80's/early 90's were going to make us rich down the road (help pay for college, etc) only problem was they so mass-produced those cards that there are still tons of unopened material 10-20 YEARS LATER

I'm personally apalled by the fact that it took three pages before someone brought up the spores, molds, and fungus line from Ghostbusters.
That being said, I collect alcohol/liquor/bar paraphanelia. Church keys, bar signs, bar mirrors, neons, shakers, various things. I just picked up a beautiful etched steel shaker and 4 crystal martini glasses yesterday, which will likely get a test run with Beefeater and marinated olives for extra dry martinis on New Years Eve.

lol...I like both.
But I also love entertaining and cooking/mixing drinks and what not for others (strange that I work in a bar, eh?)...and if you have fine glassware and equipment, it works out that it helps GET the women too...
And my girlfriend likes the women too, so it's all good. Now if I could just teach her to enjoy a good dry martini...

Crikey, I have about half as many DVD's as you and thought I was pretty cool. I let a friend borrow over 200 DVD's indefinitely when I moved, and about half of these are lost now. It makes me a sad panda--my idea was why tape DVDs up in boxes when people would enjoy watching them? But literally over 100 DVDs still missing--I'm hoping they turn up in the basement when the Christmas decorations go back.

Collecting is kinda hard for me to do these days, just no time and not enough money to spend on superfluous stuff.
I do have a massive collection (several hundred) of DVDs, mostly in the horror/sci-fi genres, but also including any sort of exploitation, 50s JD, drive-in fare, shlock, etc.
Also have a large Marvel comics collection, but even though that's one of the few things I still add to, it's not as much out of hobby needs than it is to get for research purposes.
Though I don't actively collect them anymore, still have a huge monster magazine collection, with about 90% of all Fangorias, a few dozen Famous Monsters, and a bunch of "off" titles from over the years (Shriek!, Monster World, Fantastic Monsters, Monsters Attack, etc.)
Still have a ton of the figures and games from my childhood, but not really actively collecting those either. Got hundreds of reference books on horror/sci-fi/shlock films too.
