Exactly. As long as YouTube is paying out that sweet, sweet creator revenue these grifters are gonna flood the site with nerd rage clickbait every damn day, often playing both sides. Example: Exactly. These are the types of videos I've been seeing on YouTube. I upload my film reviews via my YouTube channel and there are quite a few channels that I am subscribed too. One in particular(who I won't name) uploads the same clickbait angry titles regarding Star Wars. Usually it's in the vein of "STAR WARS TEST SCREENING HORRIBLE!", "KATHLEEN KENNEDY ON HER WAY OUT!", "MARK HAMMIL AND ANTHONY DANIELS DISAPPOINTED WITH RISE OF SKYWALKER!", "RISE OF SKYWALKER FLOPPING DUE TO WOKENESS!". Reading through the comment section I find myself shaking my head. It's horrible at some of the venom, sexist, and racist statements that I've come across on that realm of the Internet. Another thing I noticed is posts that are more along the lines of being neutral, making a positive statement, or pointing out the obvious that normally a JJ Abrams production doesn't have leaks of this magnitude. Those posts are generally ignored and the ones parroting the hateful visualization against women are upvoted into triple digits. I know I've done my fair share of complaining and whining about the WWE product in the past. However, I don't spend all of my time recording rants attempting to get others to join my cause. Bottom line is the ones complaining or threatening not to watch will be there opening night anyways, who do they think they're fooling? Easily-angered incels who can’t grasp the idea of a woman in any position of power.

People still say "incel?"
Objecting to women being in power has never been the argument from my perspective, it's just been twisted into that

Can't just keep having flawed films that happen to be helmed by women in some way shit all over like they're the worst things ever, and not just flawed films that would otherwise be forgettable, and not eventually conclude "huh, guess there's a factor here making the little cockroaches angrier than usual."

I got past that sinking feeling a second ago. I’m fully in “This might fall off a cliff or soar into the heavens mode”. Just gotta watch it. Besides some stuff like the Trevorrow stuff getting debunked gives me a lil hope. Regardless, yeah, ima give it a week to see how people react to everything.

New rumors from MSW about Trevorrows version. Gonna spoil it, just to be on the safe side cause it involves “that versions backstory of Rey”. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}”Leia’s servant was Rey’s mother In the unmade Trevorrow/Connolly Star Wars: Episode IX story, Rey had a rather interesting backstory. No, she wasn’t a Solo or a Skywalker. Rey was going to be the daughter of a woman who was a cook, housemaid, and once nanny to Ben Solo. Rey and Ben were to have grown up together and she was like his little sister, living in the Solo household together.” “The end of Colin Trevorrow’s Star Wars: Episode IX was going to take place in a rather interesting place. The end duel was not in some classic location or some badass new world. Colin Trevorrow’s Star Wars: Episode IX had the duel take place inside the Solo family home. Ben was redeemed amongst family memories and he saved Rey from her injuries in their fight in that moment.” No Palps as Colin has mentioned. Lando, yes. Leia would of died, gotten a lightsaber. FO was doing “manchurian candidate” mind wiping stuff, red stormtroopers but weren’t called “sithtroopers”, no romance between Kylo/Rey seeing as they were sorta siblings, plot was him trying to make her evil, her make him good. makingstarwars.net/2019/12/exclusive-reys-backstory-from-collin-trevorrows-star-wars-episode-ix/ {Spoiler}Trevorrow: Hey JJ, I just saw Spectre and got this great idea!

So the Director of Photography for Rise of Skywalker posted this spoilery image to Instagram before deleting it. Most likely a set from the ending of the movie, so you've been warned. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} That looks 100% to me like the Lars homestead. Combined with Daisy Ridley saying something about the theme of the moving being about choosing your family...

I'm sitting here wearing a Star Wars T shirt, Godzilla boxers, watching NXT before RAW comes on, and I'm posting on a pro wrestling message board bitching about Star Wars... and even I just want to yell "SHUT UP YOU FREAKIN' NERD" at that reddit post

Though the prequels and even some of the newer stuff is filled with a lot of shoe-horning connections and references. Not too mention Reys rumored backstory in TROS which is..well we’ll see how it’s executed and people take it. A lot of people seemed to want her to be “nobody”. And if the leaks are to be believed that sure as shit isn’t the case

Really detailed recaps of the film are coming out, whether true or not, that have (of course) slight variations on bits of former leaks. This last detailing actually ..makes it sound like a really fun film to me. Either way with little days away people might wanna extra watch out.
