Gerald had a long life. He went out with dignity. I forgot to mention, I'm sad for this, but I wonder what he fell down this time? It's sad that he died, but that is hilarious. Well played, good sir.

We shouldn't forget that Ford loved working with animals.

I may not have been his biggest fan, but the guy deserves respect. Always good when someone's gotten to live a long, full life.

A reluctant president. He was president during a very difficult time who will best be known for one incident, pardoning the president which, I believe, is unfair. He will be missed.

I was born in 1980, so he was before my time. I feel bad for anyone to lose a family member, especially around the holidays.

:-( RIP to Homer Simpson's neighbor And the falling down joke was meant as good-natured. They showed a highlight reel of him falling down on CNN as a wrote it. It's something light-hearted to remember him by.

I want to say that the position Gerald Ford was in with the Nixon situation I would never wish on the president. It's a very tough decision to make for most people. You can either heal the country and hurt your own electiblity (by pardoning Nixon) or hurt the country and help your electibilty (by allowing Nixon to stand trial). In the end, it was a no win situation and despite what some people may say, it was the right decision to pardon Nixon.
RIP Ford. You Truly Were The Great Healer.
