Can they please come up with a better man of the match award?
At the moment, it's a yellow brick and looks like the drizzling shits.

Such a relief for all the other teams that De Bruyne is out. Man City will be shit without him!

Real Madrid haven’t replaced the player who scored over 400 goals in a decade for them. It’s pretty obvious what’s wrong there.

Should be an interesting game tonight, Palace have been a bogey side for Liverpool for many years now.

Odd to say after 2 losses but I'm quite pleased with what I've seen with Arsenal. It needs time, definitely, but with Torreira to settle in at DM I think the defence will improve. Going forward isn't much of an issue. We scored 2 but missed 3 sitters.
Not the right results but we're putting up a good fight. In the past when going 2-0 down early on it would have ended 5 or 6 nil.

He’s done another destroy and exit. Hopefully he’ll take Casper the Snake with him.

He’s done another destroy and exit. Hopefully he’ll take Casper the Snake with him. It's been 12 years since he's done a decent job in England, 8 since he's done a good job anywhere. At with someone like Allardyce, you know what you're getting, stability, mid table boring while you look for something better. How does someone fail and get work so much?

Allardici gets results though, love or hate him. McClaren just seems consistently clueless wherever he goes.

How does someone fail and get work so much He did win the Dutch league with a team that wasn't PSV, Ajax or Feyenoord and won a League Cup with Middlesbrough, so that's why he still gets employment.
Even when he fails, he tends to land on his feet. He failed to get Derby into the prem when it looked like they were a lock for a playoff spot at least, then goes to the Toon and is the main reason why we go down, and Derby rehire him.
When QPR give him the boot, I half expect him to end up in the Premiership again.

I mentioned those, and they're just under/just over a decade ago now, since then multiple chances that he just did nothing with. It's not like he's a guy with a lot of promotions or rescue jobs under his belt like the rest of the merry-go-round.

So, who's hoping Sunderland goes to League Two next season?
I sure am!

Yeah I reckon Sunderland will go straight back up.
Stoke on the other hand...3-0 down at home against Wigan is not a good look, and that's without taking into consideration the poor results from previous weeks. Have Stoke even won a match under Rowett yet?
EDIT: Ashley Williams has just been sent off for Stoke. I could not foresee that coming at all.

Stoke City is gonna can Rowett by October if they have any brains. And, while we're talking about the bottom of the Championship..
