That BS about you can't drive the QB into the ground How the f*** else was he supposed to get him to the ground, two hand touch
That’s a penalty for the helmet to helmet hit. That's even f***ing worse
Nowhere is there any helmet to helmet contact

That’s a penalty for the helmet to helmet hit. He hit him in the armpit. the tackling rules going into this season are disasterous. And it's going to hurt the game
I'm all for making the game safer but c'mon now nobody goes to the game to watch the refs pull flags every play

Think it was the Cards game last week where they had 36 flags

They wonder why ratings is declining

The game has regulated defense out of the game, and it is all about passing now. But also, no one has known what the definition of a catch has been for YEARS. The people running this game have jumped the shark in terms of blatant incompetence.

Add on the running game basically being dead as well. Only over the last few years have seen RB's get their value back up

5000+ yards passing is goign to be the norm eventually.
Therre are so many damn flags and it absolutely KILLS the flow of the game.

Hate to be the one playing Devil's Advocate here, but hasn't that kind of tackle been penalized for a while now? Leaping and leading with the helmet on any player?

Hate to be the one playing Devil's Advocate here, but hasn't that kind of tackle been penalized for a while now? Leaping and leading with the helmet on any player? That has long been the standard for hits on defenseless players. Hitting QBs, kickers, and players making a catch (both as a receiver and a returner) have gotten that flag. Conversely speaking, they have done things to protect defenders as well. Chop blocks are banned and frequently called. Receivers used to be allowed to push off. Offenses have strict rules regarding formations allowed (reducing looks that receivers must respond to).

I'm guessing it is for a depth at DB and return. Plus Vance has liked him since their days with the Bengals.

Pac-Man in a state where weed is legal should prove to be amazing for all of the wrong reasons. Hopefully no one gets shot this time.

Yeah, I would start either Josh McCown or Teddy Bridgewater on Week 1. If you don't start either of them, you might as well trade one.

At this point McCown is the extension of the coach to teach Darnold so he's the 3rd QB and until someone's starting QB go down you might as well hold on to all 3 and have Bridgewater as your 2nd string
I would have started Teddy Week 1 just because you can afford for him to get knocked around and he still has the ability to get out the pocket but as I said it's not like he greatly outplayed Darnold but the kid has showed poise and didn't look like someone who would be sitting on the bench forever

That shoulder injury for the Cowboys guy was nasty looking.

This Cowboys defense is looking pretty good right now.
Randy Gregory looks like a BEAST. Let's hope he stays clean.
