Looked at the schedule for the Panthers, it looks like we may be in danger of another giant losing streak towards the end.

There are reports that the Jets are still shopping around the 3rd overall pick. If they don't trade it, many believe they'll draft Ed Oliver instead of Josh Allen.

Unless he has the best draft ever, I'm f***ing done with Dave Gettleman and his dinosaur ways.

49ers kicker Robbie Gould has requested to be traded.
RB Jonathan Stewart has signed a one day contract so he can retire as a Carolina Panther
Seahawks have agreed to trade DE Frank Clark and a 2019 third round pick to the Chiefs for a 2019 first round pick, a 2020 second round pick, and a 2019 third round pick

Gould wants to leave a team that might find itself in a bunch of tight games where having a proven kicker like him can play a massive role in the direction of the team's season. That's huge. It also probably scares the kicker the Bears just signed since Gould wants to be close to his family in Chicago. I'm also irritated that the Seahawks swung this deal before the draft. Before that, they very much looked like they were trading down and the chances that Brian Burns or a similar player could have slipped down to the Colts at #26 could have improved, but now the Seahawks definitely need pass rush help.

49ers kicker Robbie Gould has requested to be traded. Apparently he wants to be closer to his family in Chicago. I'm struggling to think of a team near Chicago that could use a reliable kicker. Hmm. A team that could use a kicker...near Chicago... I got nothing.

Looked at the schedule for the Panthers, it looks like we may be in danger of another giant losing streak towards the end. So...what's the skinny on Newton? Does he have the same injury as Luck had? That was a possibility last time I heard something. I ask because I had wondered what the possibility was that they would swing a trade to rent Jacoby Brissett for the year in an effort to win even if Newton was out. Brissett did not set the world afire his one season as a starter, but that Colts squad was putrid and they needed an epic draft haul plus the rookies from 2017 finally starting to play up to their potential to turn the team around under an innovative coach. Yes, Luck being an improvement over Brissett also plays a role, but that season could have had so much suck had Brissett not been there. Had they not traded for him, I really think that they would have had the #1 draft pick. That team was that bad.

Gettleman all-but-calling him a culture problem when his NYG teammates have nothing but good things to say about him in both public and private strikes me as Gettleman being an out-of-touch old white guy. This guy's no Antonio Brown. Gettleman's been talking stupid shit since he got here and Odell's finally in a position to clap back at his lying, ignorant ass without any kind of organizational backlash.
Gettleman better have the f***ing draft of a lifetime or I'm done with the Giants until the Maras have enough and fire his ass. No wonder why everybody in Carolina despised him.

WR Josh Gordon has signed his restricted free agent tender with the Patriots. Looks like he wants to stay.

The Chiefs have a real god-tier ability to get shitheads on their team. Frank Clark’s going to fit right in.

Iirc he did a lot of the same things in Carolina and the big complaint when he got fired was he just did what he want and insulted those who disagreed
