Wow...thats all I can say...I was extremely skeptical when it came to this movie but it delivered and packed so much heart way before Rocky even stepped into the ring...It tied up so many loose ends of the Rocky universe...Our entire audience were at the edges of their seat, and as he drops the flowers at the grave for the final time, their was a huge standing ovation...

Again, no one's ever told me about the status of the retirement home training montage.

I'll say this and leave it at that. Stallone's(and by extension, Rocky) too old to be a legitimate threat to anyone in a boxing ring, especially someone 30 years his junior. If Rocky did anything in that ring aside from getting his skull pounded in, I'll hate the movie.

from what i can tell, like 90% of people liked it and the other 10% of "real" Rocky fans hated it (I'm looking at you Mr. Simmons. BTW as an aside, the biggest Rocky fan cannot be from outside Philly. It's impossible).
I'm definitely finding time this weekend to see it.

I'm praying he wins the big match...then Drago, Clubber Lang and Thunderlips jump him in the parking lot.

Its almost a dialogue movie...its not all about action at all...its a character development story that leaves you with so much inspiration...I saw people literally crying, and once the "Rocky" music hit and the famous montage started to come into play there were older men in their 40s up shadow boxing...He does get his skull pounded feriously and thats the beauty of it...Its a down to earth roller coaster of emotions not unlike the original...I am shocked and this is coming from a lifelong Rocky fan and someone that severely hated the send off of part 5...I mean seriously even the inclusion of Spider Rico from the first film made me mark out like a young boy again...

All I know is that from watching the trailers, seeing Rocky go up the stairs holding a f***ING CANE is depressing as hell to me. Good lord, Stallone needs to just let it go.

It's the leash. I could have sworn I saw a cane, but not having seen the movie, I'll admit I'm getting most of my info from the trailer, so I'm probably wrong.

I'm still waiting for Apollo Creed to learn to use the force to become a force ghost Obi Wan style.

So much for intelligent conversation. Well, I try, but I just can't support a movie where a 60 year old man is presented as being on equal standings with a 30 year old in a boxing ring. And I know that it's more than about the boxing, but guess what? Most people see the Rocky movies for the boxing scenes and very little else. Completely honestly, the movie looks like a vehicle for the relationship between Rocky and his son from what little I've seen, and I could honestly care less. Stallone's too old to be doing Rocky movies, but he just hasn't realized it yet.

Welcoming me to something that I was aware of before you were even here? Strangely amusing.
