The anime was a fun time-waster with a few cool characters, but I couldn't believe that, after 7,526 episodes, they end it with "Let's keep doing what we've been doing every single season so far!"
Apparently, the manga extends the story, but it's pretty pathetic how they wrap up the show.

I've never bothered to watch this show, but my sister is a HUGE fan and thats enough reason for me to not like it.

Anime shows bring new meaning to "The Never-ending Story."
Seriously. I'm still writing the plot/script for a semi-book I'm making, and while the story is long, at least I know when it will end.

Man when I think of fangirls, this is the first show that pops up in my head. Thank god he's a cartoon character. If he was real, he'd be chased all over the world by them.

I remember when my former landlord was pirating this show and burning off episodes. By the time he got to the 40th disc, I asked him why he was still doing it, when he was long sick of the show by then. He said he had no idea.
This show went on for FAR too damned long, and wasn't very good to begin with.

i try to like it, and did for 3 years, but i agree. this show got crappy too quick. the constant "KAGOME! INUYASHA!", and pointless fillers killed this show for me.

InuYasha confused and annoyed the crap outta me. InuYasha fangirls made me want to rethink my thoughts on the death penalty

I will sum up this "show" in one sentence
"The Entire Feudal Age of Japan was filled with emos; these are their stories."
That's pretty much why I don't like it, well that and the continuing trend of the heels of the show no-selling goddamn everything.
