I need to watch it again. Haven't seen it in 20 years. Same here, although by that point I was also in the "I like it more than KK1" crowd...

All this talk about the movies, and here I am just wondering how they're going to tie in KK2 & 3 into the second season of Cobra Kai...

I doubt KK2 will be referenced much by Cobra Kai.
But I have no doubt that Terry Silver and Mike Barnes will appear.
I would guess that Kreese tells Johnny that he is shutting down the Cobra Kai dojo that Johnny created on behalf of Terry Silver because Johnny doesn't own the rights to the name and logo, and Kreese/Silver start a new villainous Cobra Kai with Mike Barnes as the sensei. Johnny will then have to create his own dojo until he eventually wins control of the Cobra Kai again, possibly in the next All Valley.

I’ve been discussing this with other Cobra Kai fans online. I’d love for Chozen to make an appearance, but it shouldn’t be shoehorned into the main story, maybe a side plot.
As for KK3, Sean Kanan, who played Mike Barnes, was caught on tape telling fans he was going to be in Season 2, though he could have been trolling, like Jericho does when he teases going to Impact. For Thomas Ian Griffith (Terry Silver), he hasn’t addressed Cobra Kai directly, but he’s said in the past that he’s done with acting, so I’m not holding my breath for him.

If Chozan appears, he'll try to undermine Daniel LaRusso. He might take the karate approach and target Miyagi Do. Then again, he might try the automobile industry approach and try to flood Reseda will cheaper Japanese exports to compete with La Russo Autos.

I wonder what happened to the fat Cobra Kai who got killed by the Locust Valley guy with a brutal kick to the chest.

If Chozen never redeemed himself before his uncle’s death (and yes, the actor who played Sato has passed away), he would still hold on to his grudge with Daniel, and likely still wants to kill him. Perhaps he has a student who Robby or Sam will fight. Again, I see this being a side story, as Johnny has no connection to Chozen, and doesn’t fit into the Cobra Kai vs. Miyagi-Do rivalry.

The confrontation between Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do can wait until season three. Season two can be based on Johnny vs Kreese and Daniel vs Chozan. Daniel will prevail when the Yakuza take Chozan back to Japan kicking and screaming to face certain death when it is revealed that he defrauded several auto dealerships in the greaterTokyo metropolitan area they were investors in by selling them defective cars,

I know one thing, people can say what they want about III, which I never had a problem with, but it's still miles better than The Next Karate Kid. I thought it was alright on its own merits, even if it was just "Karate Kid I again but now the guy playing him is 27"

Yakuza executioner (to Chozen): Live or die? Chozen: Die! Yakuza: WRONG!!! *honk*

They are only making good on Dutch's threat and actually turning someone into dead meat.
