They got a big push out of the gate. Got a featured feud when they split, then one got to feud with the most over guy on roster who had just made a shock return and the other became the face of a brand. WWE screw up plenty of NXT guys. This was all on Enzo and Cass. they never got that big w though. The Hardys returning took away all their momentum and forced the split. Nothing wrong with where they were on the card, and what there roles are, but fans were going to lose interest if they stayed together just to rarely win. They didn't get many big wins in NXT either really. Their lack of in ring meant there were always better options to go forward.
