There goes Davies winners chances Snitches get stitches not a Million Dollars What? That was the best possible move for Davie. He needed Christian to stick around or he would get targeted quick, and nobody knows he was the one that tipped off Christian as he kept his vote on him.

That was a joy to watch. Christian being tolerable for once instead of painfully neurotic. Angelina still being hard to root for in an episode that normally humanizes people. Carl staring friggin daggers from the jury. Davey tipping off Christian then STILL voting for him. Mike and Angelina swooping in on the vote after Nick told them about seeing Christian's idol. Christian reading the room to a tee. And Gabby, who got oddly jealous about Christian, finally going home. Cried every damn episode, never drew a dime!
I'd prefer it if one of Nick, Davie, or Alison took it. But given that Christian is unlikely to make it to the end and Angelina couldn't possibly win, we're headed for a palatable ending IMO. Kara is just kinda there, as well as Mike, who I'd hoped would be more of a player.

At this point I wouldn't mind seeing Davie win.

Christian reading the room to a tee. *Cough*Being dragged through by Davie and Nick He and all the other recent males of his archetype seem to be cursed by the Cochran effect, everyone has built him up as a jury threat and strong strategic player solely baed on his physical appearance. He is just the likeable beta sidekick in the arch of Gabby's game and the game of the other David Tribe Males. He would have been toast *twice* already if not for Davie tipping him off last night and then the Davids idol plays a few weeks ago. And the week before he is talked into voting out Carl by Gabby a move in Gabby's best interest not his.

He would have been toast *twice* already if not for Davie tipping him off last night and then the Davids idol plays a few weeks ago. And the week before he is talked into voting out Carl by Gabby a move in Gabby's best interest not his. I think Christian, being an objectively smart person and Survivor superfan, at times been playing up to being "a Cochran" (lord knows the editors have tried to find one more than a few times). And that as I've mentioned in this thread has bothered me, trying too hard to be the next Cochran. When I say reading the room to a tee, I mean just his idol decision at TC. I 100% feel like if Davie hadn't tipped him off, he'd have gone home. But Christian, as smart as he may or may not be, didn't seem to fully believe it as late as post-voting. He only seemed to fully believe it when he looked at his competitors. So while I agree with you mostly, I still think his Christian-specific reason to play it was his saving. I think as much as the editors like to make it out to be Gabby as Christian's sidekick or you may see Christian as Gabby's sidekick, that they are in fact equals. Much of strategizing in Survivor is shared. A person with an idea is just a vote, it doesn't really mean anything until more than one person sees it. I don't think either needed to convince the other of what they were thinking for much of the game because they see the game of Survivor so similarly. Same with Yul and Becky, but Yul gets all he credit because he was strong in challenges and because he used his super idol to flip Penner. Women do seem to get less credit for strategy for some reason. But I do feel like Gabby leaned on Christian's social game, and in general was just mopey. So I'm glad to see her go. But strategically, she was as good as anyone in the game.

man. whatever happened to the survivor auction? its been a while. Cambodia maybe? I think it was Worlds Apart. If I can recall, it got to the point where contestants knew an advantage in the game would be auctioned off so they'd all pass on the food, thus kinda ruining the fun.

Weird episode
I remember thinking during the preview last week all that scrambling in the preview is decoy for an easy Christian boot. Then Christian is super UTR all episode, and it looks he is not even a boot target at all. Have no idea who is winning now,Davie/Nick/Mike/Angela/Alison have been made to look the fool too often to win. The only one who hasn't (Kara)has never been addressed at TC and lacks a ton of content most winners have.

I think that was where Mike tried pulling something with regards to an advantage? The details are fuzzy but I remember him flirting with reneging on what they agreed upon but not actually going through with it. Then they looked at him even worse then they already did. Something like that, anyways. Worlds Apart isn't my favorite season so I don't recall it as well.

I'd like that. But I'm sure the show would be like "The cheeseburger you just bought also comes with an idol nullifier nullifier. Also, on the lettuce is a clue to an immunity idol hidden at an immunity challenge, but the idol can only be used during a 2nd vote after a tie, but becomes a super idol if it's raining. And if played, Ben Driebergen automatically goes to the finale."

I really just want Angelina to make the F3 just so I can hear her entire speech about getting the tribe rice. Also, I was just beginning to like Christian after loathing him early on. Don't ya hate it when you finally flip on viewing someone and they're immediately out?
