Apparently the Going Great episode will focus more on 1983 than the show itself

Apparently the Going Great episode will focus more on 1983 than the show itself Probably a very BAD sign for Welcome Freshmen or Fifteen then, given they're the first of 1991 and are a lot more expendable in terms of time devoted to it than Doug, Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy, Clarrisa, Salute Your Shorts, or Are You Afraid of the Dark.

The less time spent on Fifteen/Hillside, the better. What an awful show.

I think this is more to do with very little to actually talk about with Going Great, aside from featuring the likes of Keanu Reeves

Plus the fact that 1983 as hinted had a lot of behind the scenes things going on that would lead to Cy Schneider's departure I'm sure.

I remember Today's Special as more of a PBS show (at least it aired on my local affiliate), as I didnt get Nickelodeon until 1993 (though I was able to watch it at the houses of relatives that had cable). While it wont be worthy of a full episode, I wonder if they'll touch on some of the acquired programming they had in the 80s like Mysterious Cities of Gold, Spartakus, Dangermouse, Banannaman (though they just used the shorts as filler between shows), and Count Duckula.

I'm sure they'll cover all of those (and probably pretty soon).

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

Going Great/Nickelodeon 1983 Wow, it's kind of fascinating how everything worked out the way it did with regards to Atari and Nickelodeon.

Next four to follow: The Third Eye Powerhouse Vic's Vacant Lot Nick Rocks Nick Rocks! I loved that show! It was basically MTV but kid-friendly. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go listen to The Jets:

Already up to Children's Classics (Ep #9) and looking forward to a few of these especially PopClips (or, as I know it, Papa Nes and the reason why MTV came to be).

Be sure to watch the "You Can't Do That On Television" episode. It's especially good.
