This show was my after-school jam!
First season was a lot of fun, the second season "racing" theme was garbage.
I had the full song on tape when my local tv station ran a long ad for the show, thank you for posting this!

The first episode alone bumbled around a plot like a weeble with a concussion.
Like, at least with Transformers, it gave you an inch bit of back story on the damn thing before selling you the toys.
First episodes are often weird. They didn't need much back story with MASK. The theme song told you all you needed to know.
1. Again, not an excuse when a lot of shows from that era told enough of a backstory in their first episode or more.
2. Also not an excuse because, again, Transformers theme is self explanatory but at least told you more about it unlike MASK which was “White Bread guy has a crime solving team because *shrug*”.

MASK are the good guys. The mighty power who can save the day. They fight crime. Trakker leads the mission. VENOM are the bad guys. MASK are always on their trail.

The Transformers theme was written by an advertising company so no wonder.

Not even just the theme, the first episode of the show literally goes into Cybertron, tells you about Optimis and Meagtron, the leaders of the factions and sets up both of them leaving to get to Earth.
MASK’s first episode is about a woman who finds out a secret, gets plunged off a cliff during a chase with Venom and somehow not only lives but ends up at Tracker’s house with literally no explanation. Like, I know it’s for kids but come on...
