This is cool to see after so many years of the Rams being unwatchable. Steven Jackson deserved to be on this kind of team. Steven Jackson was an animal in his prime
Just a horse who ran over you
Imagine if those teams had ANY other sources of offense? The other team always knew Jackson was running and he still got his. For real, I think he'd be in HoF conversations if he had any help.

Texans at Colts is the lamest game this week. "Come watch Andrew Luck and some mooks play against a team that doesn't understand the meaning of the word 'quarterback'!" The Colts defense actually shows promise for once, so that’s neat.

Sadly, he's a guy who you can name a few of where they seemed to be unstoppable in their prime but once they lost that burst or slight speed that made them special it was over. Add on obviously the body breaking down after all the damage it absorbed
If he didn't get worn down as much he probably could have been like Frank Gore who should go to the HOF based on his numbers and longevity. Other RB's off the top of my head who fell off in quick fashion after being beast are Chris Johnson and Jamaal Charles

Probably should have started Jared Goff in one of my leagues.... I thought Minnesota had a good defense If that's in the Yahoo league, then ouch. Meanwhile, I'm off to a roaring start. Yeah.....it's in the one Yahoo League where I would have gotten over 100 points with him alone

Those guys were pretty much the entire offense for their teams' too. I'm seeing a pattern. Frank Gore defies logic. I love seeing the old skill position guys still getting it done.

Dude still averaged over 4 yards a carry into his 9th season. He simply did it for a complete shit team so no one noticed.

Man do the Rams look so much better in these uniforms. That gold never worked, IMO.

The Vikings offensive line is less offensive than it used to be, but it and the defense cost them this game.

this is where the league is going. With he rules NFL has made and continues to make the good teams in the league are going to have QBs who throw for 3-5 TDs in most games.
Any records of guys like Manning, Brees and Brady are going to look obsolete

Man do the Rams look so much better in these uniforms. That gold never worked, IMO. I like the Gold better than the white they’ve been wearing, but this is much better than both. They ruined Gold when the Nike switch happened in 2012. They gave us the toilet seat cover neckroll and got rid of the gold pants leading to the blueberry look at home and the mono white pjs on the road. I did shake my head when we fixed the neckroll but created the white horns. That said, I get the feeling when the revamp happens in 2020, we will go back to Blue and Yellow with the white horns as a throwback and color rush as an alternate. I'd love to see a St. Louis Rams tribute uniform too (Gold horns, Navy jersey and gold pants) but I get the feeling they'd rather pretend everything between Super Bowl 34 and 2016 never happened (as do I sometimes)

Mentioned in the stickied thread but according to Adam Schefter;
Vikings’ long snapper Kevin McDermott lost the top of his pinky Thursday night when it got caught in another player’s face mask, per ESPN’s Courtney Cronin. McDermott got his pinky stitched up and returned to the game. Ronnie Lott approves of this message....

So we see if Miami is for real Apologies in advance if I sound like Arrogant Boston Fan, but I'd still be skeptical that a team led by Ryan Tannehill could go on to win the division (even if they might be 3 games up on the Patriots by the end of the day today.)
