My thoughts have been confirmed.
The Giants are the worst team in the NFL. No offense. No defense, and an overall lack of character and pride. From Beckham and Apple to the rest of the clown show. No way they win more than 2-3 games the rest of this season.
If Gettleman can field some offers for Beckham before the deadline or during next offseason, I'd strongly suggest he listens. This embarrassment has to end ASAP. Manning needs to be benched in a hurry... anything to put some life in this listless passing attack.

I think we have proven with that first half actions that OBJ is a cancer I can understand him to an extent He wears his heart on his sleeve and with the way Eli plays I would be frustrated to but there's a thin line of being competitive and being bitchy It's the same thing I get on Cam Newton for and he still does it. Fix your f***ing body language and act like a leader because no one got time to be trying to console you and make things right Not everything is going to go the way you want it and the fact you sulking on the sidelines not wanting to talk to anyone doesn't make it better
What about when Odell assaults a fan because his team scored a TD, but it wasn't him getting the TD. And he has to be calmed down...…….by the rookie.

The problem with Beckham is that contract that the Giants just put on him that starts next year. No one is really going to want that contract, it's the same reason why the Steelers are stuck with Antonio Brown despite his diva acts.

How about next week- Giants offense vs. Falcons defense!

Seriously, how in the hell does Eli have two rings, and both at the expense of the Patriots? Eli wasn't hot garbage then, the Giants defense was really good and a once in a lifetime catch by Tyree.

I'm not saying that Beckham was innocent of any wrongdoing, but man did Buck and Aikman spin everything he did into the worst possible light yesterday. They were so thirsty to feed that "OBJ is a cancer" narrative. Like when Barkley and Beckham were hyping each other up on the sidelines after a big play with Beckham punching the sideline fan (which admittedly wasn't a good look at first glance), they spin it as "Barkley has to calm the diva wide receiver down." Martellus Bennett did a good job of calling out their biases last night.
And yet if someone like Tom Brady or Phillip Rivers was throwing a similar temper tantrum on the sidelines, it's "Oh it's fire! He's passionate for the game!" Maybe talk more about how Eli played like hot garbage instead of focusing so much on OBJ's perceived antics.

I'm no Eli fan (Ok, I hate the guy for '07 and '11) but the failures of the Giants run far far deeper than him)
For example, The Giants' O-line is absolutely terrible.

The O-line is terrible, but Eli's play lately has been awful too. The team went into this season (hopefully) knowing what Eli's weaknesses were and the O-line not only exposes those weaknesses, but encourages Eli to continue developing worse habits like rushing passes that turn into picks even when the offensive line actually holds up for him. Or doing these dink-and-dunk screen passes that pad his completion percentage numbers, but don't actually do anything.
Even Pat Shurmur was frustrated at the play yesterday. You could see him screaming "THROW THE BALL!" from the sidelines yesterday because Eli was playing like a deer stuck in the headlights.

I'd like to see Eli have a 2 season final act like his brother on another team. I bet if he got put on a team with a real O Line he'd be a legit threat again. Dude is trying not to get smashed a half second after every snap.
He's been terrible, but he's 3rd or 4th on the list of the issues the Giants have right now.

I'd call him the second biggest issue with the Giants right now. First is offensive line incompetence, easily. Pass rush has been spotty at best, but I think Eli's issues have started to eclipse that problem and it's been bumped down to third. Offensive ineptitude also has a negative effect on defense because it means the defense is on the field more meaning they're going to get worn out.
Though figures that Peyton Manning won his second Super Bowl during a season when he was godawful and got carried by a historically good defense. Maybe Eli can do something similar with the Jags but then they seem committed to Black "70" Bortles.

O line is a big issue yes but he's looking scared to throw down field when you get Shepard and OBJ as targets
Eli is their 2nd biggest problem behind the O Line

Not that Bortles is anything close to a top QB, but he has most of Eli's downsides without the burdens of age or immobility.

Living in NC I may have to hide out a bit if the Skins lose to the panthers. Which we will, the Panthers have had our number for years now.

I don't know if they are the worst, but they are a contender. Let's look at everyone with losing records right now: Arizona (1-4): Rosen might be the future, but he isn't the present. Besides Petersen and Fitzgerald, two guys who are great but will not be around/in their prime by the time the team isn't a mess, the team is just basically devoid of real talent. They have a serious rebuild ahead of them and I don't know if I trust their coach. Atlanta (1-4): Key players are hurt, which is a real issue, but part of their record is their schedule. They are still playing good offense and can start a string of wins any time now, so I think they are better than their record. Buffalo (2-3): I look at Allen as just a better version of Tebow. I have more faith in Blake Bortles. That offensive line is definitely not as good as last year and the defense is underperforming. I really don't know what to make of their coach as well. They really best hope Allen works out as they don't have enough talent to compensate. Dallas (2-3): Part of their problem is their owner. Part of their problem is their coach. Part of their problem is I think their QB is regressing a bit, which I blame largely on the first two. I think Prescott would be better had they kept Branden Weeden on their roster as young mobile QBs need veteran game managers as mentors to help them develop, and Weeden, despite his limitations, actually developed into a decent game manager. Denver (2-3): Their problem is the same one they always had; they need real talent at QB. Keenum is okay on a loaded team but not good enough to lift up a team with some limitations. Elway is wasting the prime years of that defense. Detroit (2-3): This team confounds me. They have the same problem year in and year out. They are a comically unbalanced team. They do have a decent number of players with talent though, which is more than Arizona can say. Houston (2-3): Houston has two real problems. Problem one is that offensive line. They are terrible. Problem two is their coach is terrible, but as a Colts fan I am okay with that. Indianapolis (1-4): This team is much better than their record. They are a rebuilding team but were still in position to win 4 of those games. Their problems are twofold. 1) Grigson left them with a ton of holes to fill, which will take time, and 2) they really need to figure out what they are doing wrong with their strength and conditioning. They will play today missing 9 starters and have another half dozen playing hurt. New York Football Giants (1-4): Eli is playing bad, but playing for years behind hot garbage has given him happy feet. He might be a shell of himself, but there is a reason for that. The real problem is management is losing the locker room. Too many players are now playing only for themselves and it shows. That is on both coaching and the GM. They need to start trading malcontents for draft choices and scour other teams' practice squads for their replacements. Might as well tank while trying to find diamonds in the rough along the way. New York Jets (2-3): This team is merely incomplete. The defense appears to be legit enough. I still can't believe they got Henry Anderson for only a 7th. Oakland (1-4): I can only assume the plan all along was to tank this year while determining which veterans they can rely on to teach the new players next year how to play in Gruden's system, with the option to trade the other veterans before the deadline to contenders who need them. Otherwise, there has been no real plan in place. I concede that might be a real possibility, which would make them far worse than the Giants. Seattle (2-3): This team has a distinct lack of talent in key positions. Offensive line still needs help for the 23rd season in a row. The defense is getting old and the discarded players were not adequately replaced. They still are professionals, however, which still makes them better than half of the teams on this list. They can win any game they are in, even with their inadequacies.
