I was really excited until I saw that it would probably be on AXS, which I don't think I have.

That is far too detailed IMO to be legit...they go from jericho and jr to the young bucks and all those details and that info leaking out now should compromise alot of things considering none of them are out of their contracts yet.
I could have believed untill they started talking about young bucks and how they have already made the decision to jump to this brand new promotion

Assuming that anything in that article is true, the fact that a billionaire is doing this because his son is a big wrestling fan and is “being very hands on” would mean that this thing is dead in the water already.

I'm guessing a large chunk of this isn't true, otherwise would probably be in some deep shit from the word go from apparently negotiating with people still under contract.

While I hope it is true and have this All IN as a regular federation. Until it happens, it sounds so much like the supposed company is 09 I think it was that claimed to be started by the owner of the Mets, Signed on guys like Booker T (fresh off his expired TNA deal), Sabu, Vader, and other big names. Was selling to be the first wrestling company to offer insurance to the talent. It sounds to good to be true.

Well, any family that runs the Jacksonville Jaguars obviously doesn't mind losing millions upon millions, so sounds perfect for the wrestling business.

JR being involved doesn't get my hopes up. Maybe he'll care with this but I just don't see it happening.
Jericho having talked to and possibly have agreements in place with the boys from the Elite I can see being true. They have spent a lot of time together with the NJPW shows and then All In so them throwing around business ideas isn't all that far fetched.

What a coup if true.
I have AXS, so I'd be down lol..
But maaaan..I can totally see it being realistic. And the fan in me gets excited at the prospect of a new wrestling company coming into fruition...but the realist in me screams it'd be a bad idea.

There's not a worse thing in wrestling than a dumb money mark, the wrestlers will just take advantage of him. See Herb Abrams and stupid Dixie Carter.

This sounds like that Walton family owned promotion that turned out to be a scam. (by someone who has a history of doing this btw, Jim Duggan and 3WA anyone?) Instead of Booker T and Vader it's Chris Jericho and JR.

At this point in his life I'd be amazed if Jim Ross really wanted to do something like this. Yes, I know he does shows for NJPW and some indies, but he puts almost no effort into them. For something like this, something where it seems like he would have some responsibility in running the company, with his age and where his life is right now, why would he want to do that?
