Wasnt the DA issue that Dixie called them dummies? No, the DA relaitonship was rocky before then; disappointing performance, difficulty selling ad space, canceling the extra content and reruns they had put on... The dummies e-mail came late into the game and when cancellation talks were already floating around.

I remember Dixie going on the Austin podcast and claiming that the move to Destination America was gonna take them to the next level because they were getting two or three shows...how that went you asshole?

When Pop drops them (and they are), just where are they going to go?
Everyone with a functioning brain knows the company is a zombie show; It's dead yet it still moves.
The only way they could possibly save their hides is maybe syndication, even that's a longshot.

I’m glad for the people here that enjoy Impact and I wish I could but just because you enjoy it doesn’t mean other people enjoy it and what impact is currently doing is trying to appeal to an extremely minute audience and that’s gonna hinder them from growing no matter what type of network they might land on.There’s no loyalty from their current audience it’s can miss tv when your on Thursday at 8pm and your doing 150,000 to low 200,000 viewers and half of those people will stop watching due to starting 2 hours later that tells you all you need to know because when a product is really good people will watch no matter what time it’s on.
Being LuchaUnderwhelming is Also a bad choice because LuchaUnderground has never been a success it is the definition of a niche product.Me aswell as your average wrestling fans want a show where you have people you like and people you hate engaging in interesting stories not a show of worked shoots, murder of many women and one child, undead realms, everything being treated as a joke, announcers and a company with no credibility,a roster of totally unlikable people and the only babyfaces they have being losers who are then turned heel because everyone needs to be awful.

How many earth shattering announcements that were supposed to take the company to the next level truly happened Dixie? She’s the definition of money mark.

Yeah, this is the reason why the ratings are in the shitter at the moment. And when Eddie Edwards was put into the main event at the end of July, that is when the numbers really started to bomb.
A dude that threatened to put the wives of his opponents in hospital and berated a guy that was trying to help him for not letting him commit murder going after the top title as a face is going to kill ratings.

How many earth shattering announcements that were supposed to take the company to the next level truly happened Dixie? She’s the definition of money mark. Twice the announcements could have been huge deals that took the company to the next level. First was Angle. He was a legend in his own time that could still go. He could have brought them WWE fans and mainstream attention. Instead he was instantly put over their top guys, then put into stupid comedy with his wife that made him a joke. He was TNA'ed. Second was Hogan. Hogan being a figurehead and ambassador for the company again could have brought them WWE fans and mainstream attention. Instead he soaked up their money, caused them to waste more on bad ideas and hiring his buddies. And he barely mentioned the company at any point negating the only good thing he could do for them. And worse than Angle he cost them so much that Panda had to cut TNA off, leading them to where they are now.

Blame POP TV for still wanting Impact to be a PG show despite having a late evening timeslot. The major storyline in TNA this year. Well, I can't see how that wouldn't draw 7 million viewers alone.

Gotta love that the show before this one eddie went to management told them he wanted to murder(in those exact words) his co-worker and his bosses said “just don’t do it at the arena we might be liable” so he responded “i’ll Do it in the woods!” and his bosses said “We’ll send a camera crew!”

I'll be pissed if impact gets cancelled and goes under. It's the most interested I've been in impact/TNA since since 2003. It's not perfect but I enjoy it more than any other current wrestling product.

I just saw the video of Eddie fighting Callihan in the woods. It’s the most pathetic thing I have ever seen in my life.

The mighty E routinely gets roughly two million viewers for their flagship program RAW these days. Let's face facts Pro Wrestling is dead, dead, dead. I enjoy the industry for what it is but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the glory days of old. The sad fate of Pro Wrestling is a good lesson of why monopolies are a bad thing.

Sadly I wouldn't be surprised if this is the high watermark in terms of viewers. I think they're going to get killed from Thanksgiving until New Years.
I love Impact but this is bad.

I can't find my original post, but my idea for TNA is just go to Twitch and team with some small indies. Charge like 4.99 or for a monthly subscription to see IMPACT "live" as in its first airing plus you get % off PPV and merch. So it's a mix of WWE Network and Honor Club. Get rid of GWN and go all Twitch and try to even get a deal with Twitch.

From the bit I saw (I couldn't finish it), they're trying for Lucha Underground (which I also can't finish) but ended up closer to Broken Universe only played completely humourlessly and without self awareness.

They're Lucha Underground with 99% less budget. I've said before, it's pathetic that TNA will never find it's own identity. Early on they were a late WCW clone with Russo and the other wcw rejects. Later they became third rate WWE with all the guys who either left or were fired there. Then faux ECW with fat Dreamer bleeding and crying. Now it's LU. Next year it's backyard wrestling until they can't downgrade anymore.
