DC going to be next commentary guy for Vince He'd be an improvement over quite a lot of the main roster commentary.

Brock would enter the cage but the needle got stuck in his ass. Wouldn't Brock be in Saudi Arabia right about now?

Ironically enough DC had a try out in tna with King Mo, this was around 04-05, the best thing that ever happened to Cormier was that it fell through.

DC's head movement is legendary now. Bobbin and weaving. Stipe rematch, Jones, Stipe rematch, Jones..........nah Lewis and the guy that hasn't won since July 2010.

I hate seeing all this disdain for DC online and in the live crowd. The dude is the best. He's got two losses to a guy who has had a juicy history, but otherwise DC has beat a murder's row of top contenders in two different divisions. He comes off as a hard working guy that likes being the family man. I love showmanship as much as the next fan, but I can't help appreciate what DC has accomplished.
And to people who say grappling is boring, I hope they take a week of jiu-jitsu classes and come back and say if they think grappling is boring and less definitive than striking then. The first locked in rear naked choke one feels can be a pretty persuasive thing.

I remember reading the stuff while he was on Dan's show the last week. I was shocked I didn't know folks put him in the DJ range as being boring

DC going to be next commentary guy for Vince He'd be an improvement over quite a lot of the main roster commentary. He'd be the best commentator in the company. Main Roster or NXT.

So DC might want to get out after the Brock fight Given how he's said for a while he's done when he hits 40, surely that's the case.

Getting out before Jon Jones is fully back and able to beat him again is probably best for his own personal mental health

Having experience being choked out in an RNC, all I can tell you is that you go out quicker than people think you do, it feels like a f***ing curtain closing, one second you’re on the second you’re sleeping like a baby.

Derrick unfortunately became a gimmick and his lack of skills showed tonight. He's a good striker and certainly has plenty of heart but he was losing against someone who should have been in this fight (Volkov) and lost to someone who is simply lightyears ahead of him (Cormier). Lewis certainly has a lot to learn but I think he'll be back. Once those ACLs go out, you become a shadow of what you used to be. That’s why a Mount Rushmore fighter in Jose Aldo stopped using the leg kicks that almost crippled Urijah Faber. That’s why one of the best wrestlers ever in Chris Weidman can’t shoot for takedowns anymore. The only exemption has been GSP, he somehow survived the torn ACL curse.

Cormier has been Dana White's biggest victim. The reason people don't take him seriously as a top guy is that Dana White seems to get off on trying to feed him to someone he's trying to make a cash cow.
He did it with Jones, and he tried to do it with Stipe but failed. Now he's trying to do it with Lesnar too, but honestly I think Cormier's got what it takes to beat him.
