With the Ybor Stadium deal dead, I'm now interested in Rays relocation talks. Move them to Oakland and Megazord themselves a contender. Oakland already has a team and they are not combining teams right now.

Move them to Oakland and Megazord themselves a contender. Oakland already has a team and they are not combining teams right now. It was. A joke. Send tweet. The Rays aren't moving anywhere unless it's to another place in the Tampa Bay area or they get a new owner who has the intent to move them in the first place. In spite of the awful stadium attendance, the Rays have solid local television ratings (in fact they're among the best in the majors, which is impressive for a smaller market) and just got an amazing new TV deal last year. I've talked to Tampa locals who are Rays fans and it cannot be stressed enough how much they hate Tropicana Field. It's not just a terrible venue on its own (lack of) merits, but in a terrible location in St. Pete. It's a real pain in the ass to get there from Tampa proper and just not worth the effort. That's simply not true. 20th out of 29, Toronto not accounted for. www.forbes.com/sites/maurybrown/2018/10/04/2018-mlb-regional-tv-ratings-in-primetime-shows-continued-strong-popularity/#2aac59bb6257

CC Sabathia has announced this season will be his last. Great player with a great career
His numbers will warrant him talk of the HOF
People don't really judge players off round numbers but they still have merit, as C.C. will become the 3rd left hander to reach 3000 K's behind Randy Johnson and Steve Carlton

Yo Giants.
I can’t help but notice Gerardo Parra and Cameron Maybin are not Bryce Harper.

Mets first base prospect Peter Alonso has apparently improved "significantly" at first base.
Alonso being even an average fielder would be huge. Dude has a TON of power.

If anyone knows a rich benefactor or wants to start a GoFundMe page, we could all pool some resources together to create a 31st MLB franchise comprised exclusively of current free agents and I think our team would be better than most expansion teams.
Catcher: Matt Wieters
First Baseman: Logan Morrison
Second Baseman: Marwin Gonzalez
Shortstop: Manny Machado
Third Baseman: Mike Moustakas
Left Fielder: Carlos Gonzalez
Center Fielder: Adam Jones
Right Fielder: Bryce Harper
Designated Hitter (if we join the American League): Evan Gattis
Starting Pitchers: Bartolo Colon, Gio Gonzalez, Edwin Jackson, Dallas Keuchel, James Shields
Closer: Craig Kimbrel

I still can't believe Bartolo Colon hasn't retired yet.
And that'd be a pretty good team. Sure there's enough middle-of-the-road players out on the market to make up a decent bench and relief staff.

Little bit of Twitter smoke gathering that Bryce to the Phillies might be close.

One of the remaining notable free agents has found a home, as USA Today’s Bob Nightingale is reporting that Mike Moustakas has signed a one-year, $10 million deal to remain a Brewer.
It feels like this is the week that the signature free agents find homes. Spring training is getting underway in earnest and the regular season starts in about a month, it’s time for the staring contests to end.

Looked at the Orioles depth chart and recognized two position players, one of them being Chris Davis who couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.
Might be looking at 40 wins here, folks.

Bryce and Dallas would give them the edge over ATL

Out of all the players who haven't found a home yet, I think Adam Jones is one of the most baffling. Even moreso than Machado or Harper because I don't think he'd command the big contract. He's a very reliable, solid hitter and fielder both and one of the big reasons along with Machado that the O's were relevant.

He won’t be good.

Bruce Bochy is going to retire at the end of the season.
End of an era... completely expected it with his health issues and new management, but still so sad to see him go.
Next stop, Cooperstown.
