Felix Hernandez not happy that him and his 15.95 era in spring training won't be opening day starter.

Felix Hernandez not happy that him and his 15.95 era in spring training won't be opening day starter. Poor guy. Stuck around so long that he's no longer the man. Hard to believe he's two years younger than Greinke and Hamels who are still good pitchers and not barely hanging on for a rotation spot they don't deserve.

What the hell happened to Felix anyway? Age and all those innings add up, plus his injuries the last couple of years. Yeah, he's 32 but with how long he's been the workhorse of Seattle, his arm age is probably closer to 38 or more.

Felix's situation is an example of why sports teams don't wanna blow their whole careers in a smaller market that may never get where you want them to be, in a constantly tough division on top of all of that. Seattle has had some flashes but Felix's prime was essentially wasted there, and that's sadly what can happen.

R.A. Dickey was also caught breaking the policy at one point, so he's not even the first knuckler to do it.

What the hell happened to Felix anyway? He’s a poster boy of why you don’t want guys coming out at 19 throwing 200 innings every year He’s still a very young 32 but he’s been struggling since he was like 28. That arm has major wear and tear

So I mentioned over a week ago about how some Yankees believe that this 2019 squad will break the HR record set by last year's which was 267. A lot of talking heads have now been talking about this squad hitting 300 total.
I don't see 300 happening.

Kimbrel still doesn’t have a contract Same with Keuchel. If both would drop their asking price, they'd get signed.

If anything they both get one year deals with options but it’s dangerous to sign a pitcher at this point in the season because they have had no spring training and going take a while to get their arms loose In regards to Kimbrel I think he thought he can get a big deal from someone like Philly assuming they gave Harper the big money and he would get it too. Keuchel has had interest from different places all offseason but never settled on one

I can see Keuchel in Seattle but not Kimbrel
Both guys are waiting for an injury on a team that is close to championship ready but nothing has happened. I'm surprised Keuchel hasn't gone back to Houston and he was rumored to a team like the Reds. That would be a decent spot for him on a one year deal considering they have a lot of guys on their last year
I still think Philly is a destination for Kimbrel but I wouldn't rule out a team like ATL. Nats would be a good place to considering their starting pitching and if you get Kimbrel you're basically hoping you can get the SP out the game and get to a RP not named Kimbrel

There are so many cheeky jokes about the story that surfaced today about how Carlos Santana last season smashed a TV in the Phillies locker room because teammates were playing too much Fortnite:
- I guess Carlos was more of a PUBG fan. - It was the biggest smash Santana had had since "Smooth". - Better hope he never has to share a clubhouse with David Price. - It's just too bad that Major league teams, often owned by billionaires and often spend hundreds of millions in overall annual employee payroll, can only afford 1 television set per clubhouse. - Does Carlos Santana know that Fortnite is on Nintendo Switch now?

The Yankees sign Gio Gonzalez, if things work out, the Yankees ought with CC what they did with the catcher in Major League II.

I don't think these long contracts ever really work out, but if Bryce and Machado got their amounts, Trout is definitely worth way more.
