I forget what PPV it is, but Hacksaw is in a tag match. The heel gets backed up to the ropes where Hacksaw is and Hacksaw is gonna delver some blows when the ref isn't looking. So he "elbows" the guy in the head, except he stops the elbow a legit 6-8 inches above the guy's head. There's working light and then there's this. Wanna say it's maybe a SummerSlam around 89 or so? Survivor Series 89. First WWF event I ever saw & killed kayfabe dead for me inside 30 minutes!

When Farooq botches that neckbreaker, I'd post the gif but I'm on my phone right now Reminds me of Mr. Perfect breaking the laws of physics against Kerry.

How about Michael Cole giving away the outcome of the main event of WrestleMania 15? Before the match, he did a promo for the Home Shopping Network and said “we will have an interview with the new WWF Champion.” I wish I could have seen Vince’s reaction to that. On the one hand, you're not really surprised because the whole Road To WrestleMania was built around Steve Austin regaining the title and sticking it to Vince and his cronies. But to come right out and say that BEFORE THE MATCH EVEN HAPPENED(!!!) was beyond idiotic.

One of my favorites is during one of the NXT seasons there was a brawl between the pros and the rookies (I think) and one of them did his finisher on someone from his side. I want to say it involved Percy Watson or Alex Riley but it was amazing It was Alex Riley and Titus. Double whammy of botching goofs.

If there's such a thing as the all time Best Worst Match, my vote would be Steiner-Triple H from Royal Rumble 2003. Probably helps that it's in the middle of a show that's legit top-to-bottom great and a perfect three-ring-circus of "Something for everyone" in wrestling, but Steiner-Trips is just one bad botch after another in spectacular fashion, and it just keeps being awful. Instead of a plodding, boring match, you get a series of "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?" trump cards. Who would have thought that a Scott Steiner in desperate need of surgery thanks to drop foot, and a slow plodding not at 100% Triple H would have had a bad match? Seriously, who would have thunk it? If you put their 2000 selves against each other, it obviously would have been a good match, so stands to reason that their 2003 selves would have had a good match, right? I mean, hindsight is 20/03.

I think my favorite part of that gif is that you can see the crowd react like this is a good thing. Instead of “oh my god is he ok!?” It’s “YEAH!!! THAT BAD MAN FELL DOWN!” Ah, kayfabe.

I'm always astounded how that Cena/Batista Rumble botch ended with them both hitting the floor at the exact same time. The odds of that happening are so minuscule that for years I thought it was planned. Imagine if Batista had clearly hit first. They'd have to book a different path for him to face Triple H instead of the organic Rumble win. One of my favorites is during one of the NXT seasons there was a brawl between the pros and the rookies (I think) and one of them did his finisher on someone from his side. I want to say it involved Percy Watson or Alex Riley but it was amazing Speaking of, when MVP hit the Player's Boot on Titus and he just stood there completely unphased by it.

And that was Alex Riley doing a TKO on Titus, who then rolled out with the pros in the confusion and had to awkwardly get back in the ring. I had whole gloriously bad episode saved on my Sky+ for years until we got a HD upgrade.

I can't stop watching this. I can't figure out who's worse. Who are these two fine athletes?

I really really hate seeing anyone get injured but Vince hurting himself sliding in the ring at the Rumble is hilarious. Batista and Cena’s wtf reaction to him is great too. This might be the topper for me. It's one of those situations where, yes, he's hurt, and that's awful, but the situation that the injury causes is SO absurd that you can't help but laugh at it.

Is there a GIF/clip of the time during Melina's entrance when one of the photographers fell over and ate it hard?
I remember the instant replay clip of it being repeated several times in the aftermath at a time when production errors usually weren't acknowledged. Was it Extreme Rules 2008? Judgment Day 2008? Bash 2008? I want to say Spring/Early Summer 2008.

I'd imagine the Sin Cara vs. Heath Slater classic at a Smackdown taping I was at could be up there. Their match was so shitty, they came out later on in the show to redo the spots TWICE! You wouldn't know it, since I imagine they cut it together into something watchable but I'll always know.
