Just need Sparty and Kentucky to win and I'll have gotten the Final Four right.
Somebody hug Edwards. One bad pass, and people are going to forget about everything he did. Purdue isn't at this point without him, hell, he carried them in this game.

I dunno why Edwards just didn't keep it at the end of regulation and ice that game at the line to go up 4. Cline was nowhere near as good as he was the other night and shouldn't have taken the last FTs. Either way this FF is shaping up to be some total crap. Virginia and Texas Tech both in it with their hideous styles of play? We know that Texas Tech has no chance of winning the title or anything, not with a #30 ranked offense. They'll just be there to lose to the Duke/MSU winner, which is why it's lame that they won since Gonzaga was the more exciting game.
I've had this morbid desire to see a UK vs. Virginia game for a while. I guess having watched U of L be tortured by the Cavs for so long I want UK to have to go through that ordeal, even though I would imagine the refs don't even let UVA sneeze near a UK player. If it comes down to it you know they'll want Duke/UK in the Finals for ratings, even if it sucks. If this sounds like I'm dismissing Auburn tomorrow, well, I kinda am. UK already smacked them around twice this year and that was before Okeke was hurt. But then I had Auburn losing in the first round in my bracket (NM State's weird Darius Washington moment there was a bracket killer) so this current run is utterly baffling to me. I can kinda see them beating Kansas when Bill Self is ready to jump town, but to blast UNC the way they did?

I'd be a bit more excited about Auburn/UK if Okeke wasn't out with the ACL injury. Don't think Auburn will have the same kind of game they had against UNC without him.

Yeah, that's a terrible break for both. He's Auburn's best player, so they're gonna miss him dearly. I think they beat Kentucky with him, but can't see them winning shorthanded like that. And from Okeke's side, an injury like that is devastating enough, but to do it after he drove that team to the furthest that school has been in 33 years. And instead of enjoying that huge win, he's heartbroken. And on the sidelines while they play the biggest game Auburn could imagine. Unfortunate doesn't do it justice.

DUKE GOES DOWN! (And Zion Williamson is officially on the clock. ) What an unpredictable Final Four. Are somehow Virginia the favorites of the four (which would be remarkable considering their terrible loss last year) or might it be Michigan St. because Tom Izzo is the greatest head coach of the 4?

I still have UVA in my championship game. They're a great team that is motivated by last year's failure. I think it's counterintuitive to think they'd go out early this tourney. They've shown the resolve I expected this year.

Yeah this is maybe the first time I didn't get a single FF team right. My wife knows nothing about it and she at least had Virginia. Otherwise I had Duke, Michigan, UNC, and (of all teams) Villanova. I still feel awful for Purdue. Should have gotten it to Edwards in the last regulation play, let him ice it at the line.
What I don't get is why people act like Michigan St. beating Duke was a shock upset. Duke was favored by about 2 points and has been utter trash for most of this tourney, only playing one really dominant half all tourney against a 16 seed jobber. These guys should have lost to UCF, had to have a baffling final VA Tech possession to hold on for dear life, and we're shocked the Big 10 champions took them out? I thought MSU might roll them today given what we had seen. But yeah, good riddance to one of the most overrated, overhyped teams in recent history.
And what do we say about UK at this point? I think the Calipari era is basically done. The last two years should cinch it really. Last year UK couldn't make the Final 4 in the most upset riddled bracket of all time, with all top 4 seeds being shown the door in either the 1st or 2nd round. This year Auburn took out the heavy hitters in that region for them, lost a key player to an ACL tear, etc. So UK couldn't beat a conference foe they'd beaten by 27 points this year, with a hurt star player, to make the Final 4? Brad Calipari is a Junior right now, so I tend to think Cal hangs around for 1 more year till his son graduates, and then beats it out of Lexington before the whole one and done rule changes. But it's obvious he's not winning another title at UK at this point, so why prolong this any longer than need be? In fact none of the coaches since Rupp have won multiple titles, a wild fact given Pitino's various teams and Calipari's multiple FF runs.

I got 3 of the Final Four. Auburn being Golden State is the only one I missed.

It’s hard to believe that Duke has had the number one recruiting classes three straight years and they didn’t make it to the Final Four once.

Duke has been to only two Final Fours in the last 15 years which is hard to believe. Coach K is 72 years old and I think he is just tired.
Calipari is just an overrated coach who can only win when he is loaded with talent.

I still don’t think Kentucky has recovered from losing to Wisconsin in the 2015 Final Four. 38-0 coming into that game and they fall apart in crunch time. Lost twice in the Elite 8 since then and lost in the Sweet 16 last year in a virtual home game in Atlanta.

Auburn may have just gave Virginia the win with that late foul.
And they do. Heartbreaking.
