Surprised it’s not Global since you’d think Disney would be the ones to pull that off.
Which also makes me think...how many of these are going to be “Netflix International Exclusives” in 2019?

Just throw that Vault wide open. I still don't see Song of the South being let out though.

Some One Saturday Morning stuff would be nice!!! Recess, Pepper Ann, and Weekenders would be my biggest wants. And Disney Doug too just so I could watch the complete show.

As far as I know as the rights deals expire everything is headed to Disney+ If anything I see them putting a good sized chunk of stuff on Hulu.

I mean, in most countries we either have Netflix or Amazon as realistic options so until Hulu comes over here or Disney + does, those are the realistic options for streaming.

Actually, Disney announced that once the Fox deal closes and they get control of Hulu the plan is to launch it internationally ASAP

Yeah I live in the states so sometimes I forget that rights deals are vastly different overseas. I know that at least here in the US when Netflix's deal with Disney expires everything Disney on Netflix is headed to Disney+ I'm going to make the assumption that as they rollout Disney+ globally a similar situation will take place.

Either that or as someone mentioned, Hulu coming internationally which’ll probably make things super weird with the stuff that’s on Amazon and Netflix right now. My “favourite” case of this is Netflix not being able to have Lucha Underground in the UK and Europe because Germany had exclusive TV rights. I still have no idea how the hell that works.

Hmmm. I find this interesting because like I have Hulu Live so I get all my TV through Hulu, which gave me the ability to tell Time Warner Cable the could kiss my ass because cable is stupid expensive here. Is cable as ridiculously overpriced overseas as it is in the States? Cause if Disney tries to bring all of Hulu including Live overseas? That could be interesting.

So I guess the whole "Disney Vault" concept is now dead and gone, unless they do what other streaming sites do and rotate films in and out monthly.

Feel like a WWE style launch (all of the movies, steady drip of TV shows) is probably what’s going to happen here, unless Disney wants to just have the Netflix killer right out of the gate

I also wonder what this means for Disney era Power Rangers I thought they sold those rights back to Saban?

How long before we wind up paying more for all the streaming service subscriptions than we did for cable? Of course we'd get what we really wanted, but still.
