Ok, I'm sold. This look like it will be pretty good. Also helps that "God Only Knows" is in the soundtrack.

Seems unncessary if I can be blunt No sequel is necessary. Sequels exist for the same reason the original movies do- to make money.

Initially I had reservations about this, as TS3 was an ideal time to end. However, seeing the trailer I’m reassured that while maybe not reaching previous heights, it’s not going to be a complete disaster.

So...it's Toy Story 2: Remastered, only this time instead of Jessie playing the role of 'abandoned doll' we've got Bo Peep. I mean, I guess it looks okay...but I'm getting a 'Cars 2' vibe off of this one, and not in a good way.

And why is she being cast as the villain? I can deal with her being made an Action Girl now, but why of all characters would she chosen to be the antagonist?

Well, I'm ready to cry again. Damn you Pixar. I was 19 when I saw Toy Story 2 in the theater, and I cried. Even when I'm moved by a movie's plot I rarely cry but that movie did it. Pixar makes some of the most emotionally engaging movies I've ever seen (bless them).

I already love Forky, just because of his intentionally shitty design.

I think it looks very well made and it sounds like it's going to have a pretty emotional weight to the story. Cars 2 looked direct-to-DVD from the word GO. On the other hand, a lot of trailers for Pixar's movies have been kind of mediocre so who the hell knows. This to me feels like a lone exception.

I mean 3 was a great ending... So was 2. So was 1 for that matter. Toy Story 2 had a perfect ending, it seemed like that really was it. And then came 3 and it was a masterpiece. If there’s one franchise I trust Pixar to not f*** up, it’s Toy Story.

Having had the odd emotional response to some Pixar films, I’ve long thought that their slogan should be ‘Pixar...making grown men cry for almost thirty years’.

I think I'm going to wait until I hear word of mouth on this one before I decide to see it. At the moment it just feels so... pointless. Could end up being worth seeing but in the moment I'm really not convinced.

Can we have one Toy Story movie where the plot isn’t toys being separated from the rest of the gang of toys?
This looks lame. Really lame so far. Im getting Incredibles 2 mediocrity vibes.
