Does Ronda realize she is a Millennial?

This is literally the first time i've heard about avocado toast being a thing, and I would be classed as a millenial myself. I'm trying to buy Becky's "THE MAN" t-shirt off WWE's custom tees site, but there's no European shipping option and it's not on Euroshop . Some clueless guy in Australia made a rant that Millennials can't afford houses because we spend too much on expensive avocado toast. Naturally this immediately became a meme.

That's right up there with we can't afford houses because of Iphones. Now I know apple products are expensive but come on. Then again these are the same people who consider a refrigerator a luxury when talking about poor people.

Does Ronda realize she is a Millennial? Not trying to get too political, but she sounds like the young Republicans I went to high school with. People that were my age, or in some cases younger, but were total brown nosers with the teachers and always talked like “ugh the young people of today are soooo lazy and whine all the time, why can’t you be like me?”

Ok, I just need to know. Are people hating on Ronda because her promo and insta post were lame and missed the mark. Or are they actually offended as millennials? I can't keep all this work, shoot, kayfabe stuff straight anymore. And on a side note, I had avocado toast about a year ago and it was amazing. It makes no sense as an insult. It would be like saying "Those damn baby-boomers and their grilled cheese sandwiches!!!" I think the insult comes from the idea that avocados are expensive, thus eating avocado toast for breakfast is supposed to be an example of how millennials are wasteful with their money/are hypocrites for complaining about rent and stuff when they’re eating such an expensive breakfast. That’s how I’ve seen it used. It’s a really stupid insult.

That’s how I’ve seen it used. It’s a really stupid insult. It's more because avocados are seen as an 'exotic' food that comes from foreign lands. This is considered bad for deeper and more political reasons than I can get into here, but the idea is avocados are foreign and exotic and not something the critic is familiar with as a common foodstuff, so it is a bad luxury shipped in at a high price from *checks notes* Mexico.

Yeah that’s probably part of it too. It has many things that cranky people can pick at. For the record, avocado toast is pretty good. Ive only made it a few times but I put it on sourdough bread topped some freshly ground salt and pepper and some crushed red pepper flakes. Good stuff.

I agree the Ronda millennial lines feel very fake, but lest we forget that Becky's post-Summerslam promo also included millennial bashing. To be fair, we crapped on that part of Becky's promo as well (and so did she, instead of doubling down like Ronda is)

Millenials and their love of avocados are becoming a serious problem in today's society. They all meet at secret parties where they bring tons of guacamole too. They take selfies of themselves snarking that shit down and post it on instagram with like 12 different filters.

While reading through this thread, I was thinking that Rousey might want to watch herself here and then I see that Becky took the opportunity and ran with it. Put aside the fact that they are born two days apart and Becky is actually the older one. Rousey's UFC career, then complete mental breakdown after losing a fight and then giving up in the second one is the epitome of what she claimed Becky to be. Then we had the interviews on ESPN and sports television after her debut for WWE and of course she was asked about UFC which led to several near meltdowns. If Vince wrote this promo, well he did the damage, but if she did it, pretty foolish unless she wants to be the heel. But I am not complaining and this thread has been a fantastic expose of Rousey being the most millenial of all millenials. On an interesting note(for me), I found out Becky's birthday is a day before mine.

Becky should start writing Ronda's promos for her. Imagine all the sick burns Becky would come up with about herself!

Does Ronda realize she is a Millennial? It's less about being a millenial and more about bashing the current quality of men in a stereotypical fashion.

I live in LA and the places that serve Avacado toast usually charge a ridiculously stupid price. At least in a restaurant.
The joke usually comes from the fact that people tend to complain how broke they are and will go out and pay $15-$20 on Some trendy food like Avacado toast.

Ok wait so the joke is that Becky eats avocados but can't afford them?
I'm even more confused now that there's been a couple explanations.

I laugh at how Avocado ($1.10lb right now at my grocery store... not on sale) is seen as a "special privileged expensive breakfast food" by people that probably say Bacon is what normal people eat. And the cheapest bacon i see right now is at $3.65lb and it's the shit that's 95% white fat garbage. I don't see any bacon I'd consider "good" under $5 right now

I also think people who bash Millennials just think it’s a term for young people and not a specific generation. I was born in the middle of most people’s definitions of the Millennials and I’m almost 32. The older Millennials are nearly as close to AARP as they are to high school.

f***, I'm older than both of them!? When did this all happen. I'm probably older than most of the wrestlers I now watch. Does that mean I look like an adult too? How do you think I feel, I'm 14 months OLDER than The Undertaker.
