Nia Jax has the reputation of being a sloppy worker for a good reason. Because she is sloppy. But if this was a legit intentional hit on Becky and not just circumstances being circumstances, forget about sending her back to the PC. Fire her, because there's no place for that crap on the main roster, with how easy it is to get seriously hurt even when everyone's being careful to work a safer style. Based on that video, It's hard to see this as just an accident to be quite honest, it looked intentional. Regardless, let's just give her the benefit of the doubt and say, however unlikely, that it was just a mistake...to be so careless as to screw up a basic punch/elbow is crazy careless and bad. I'm one of the ones who gives a fair bit of leeway to performers because accidents do happen, no matter how good you or safe you are but Given her history of injuring people, it's painfully obvious this woman needs to be retrained or find a new line of work. A mistake or even a mistake every now and then is one thing but this is a repeated pattern with her and she is going to end up seriously injuring someone (although a concussion and broken nose is pretty damn serious)...but i mean really endangering their career. Fact is though, it looks intentional...and if so, she should be fired. Period. Surely the WWE can't let this stand without repercussions of some kind. I see no reason to assume Nia intentionally punched Becky like that, as bad as the video looks. Definitely reckless as to how hard she did it, which is a situation that can't remain unaddressed. Given Becky's concussion history, this COULD endanger her career. We just don't know yet.

A stern talking to, lol. Nia’s not a child, even if she did behave like one.
What a reckless, stupid act.

Seen quite a few people on Twitter defending Nia Jax with the old 'accidents happen' line.
Yeah, accidents happen in every line of work. But I know that if I'm a train conductor who keeps derailing trains, accident or not, I'm f***ing fired.
Learn how to work without hurting people or GTFO.

That shit looks pretty intentional to me. She really wound up that punch.
It’s easy to potato someone and shit when your in a match or doing a beat down type thing. I have done it and I have had it happen to me but that just looks like Nia hauled if and hit her as best she could.

Not sure if this has been said but I really feel like this is Ruby Riot and Sarah Logan's fault.
Thankfully Nia is unharmed. Who cares about injuries caused when she makes for a great PR tool for the company.

I get being green, I get being new to wrestling. Accidents happen and it can happen to anyone at anytime. Hell I’ve seen Braun come close to hurting people his first year.
The problem with Nia isn’t just that she did this, cause it was an accident. It’s that she’s got a history of being clumsy and bumping the wrong way and causing accidents and injuries. I won’t claim the Asuka and Sasha, and Vega was all Tamina as well. But she missed a catch with Charlotte that almost broke her neck, she landed wrong and injuried Bayley, and currently this.
Also can somebody f***ing tell ALL these ladies to stay tight and on point during brawls? Between Lana doing awful punches and laughing and what Nia did to Becky, I don’t think their attention span is all the way there when they do stuff like this.

I don’t think it was intentional. But it sure was reckless and stupid. Which is almost as bad. This simply cannot happen. Nia has to know better.

They need to do something about Nia. Jobbing on TV is nothing. Because they'll have her job for two months and then when the Rumble comes through they'll start to make her look dominant. Just fire her she brings nothing to the table other than PR purposes.

Umm what with havok I don't keep up on my Indy women like I used to. Give Cheerleader Melissa a shot if she hasn't retired yet. She deserves it. Cruise is passable enough still miles better than tamina or jax Didn't she also injure Alexa before? She had tweets that came out during (literally in the ring) a WWE try out. Said tweets were pretty damn racist in nature. She defended the tweets as just good ol' boy humor and it's totally ok because her friends are totally down with it. wooooo. At least that's how I remember it, parts of that might be confused with someone else as this was a common thing for a few months. FAN, not wanting to deal with a topic like that on an empty stomach turned the discussion into lighthearted delicious food talk, as they thankfully tend to do to keep tempers low while having heavier discussions. I haven't heard anything about her since then. Wow had no clue. Well f her then.

We need to have some serious conversations about all these superstars f***ing up and still being on the roster doing shit. If it happens once yeah ok, if it happens again then we need to speak to you. If it happens a third time then you need to be depushed and talked to heavily at the PC. Not just Nia but all these superstars causing issues in the ring.
And another thing, some stars are rough in the ring. It's 2018 and yeah injuries are bad but being rough in the ring? We need to cut that out too. I read an interview from Alexa the other day and she said something about Ronda being crazy rough in the ring and after working with her she was sore and had bumps and bruises afterwards. I've heard the same about some other superstars too. Like, that's not the name of the game. Sure, you read these interviews and these superstars let it slide because "it's what we were trained to do" and "we always work hurt so it doesn't matter" but that just causes more injuries to people. That just builds up the mentality that it's ok and that's all that's needed in order for more serious injuries to happen.
It's a stupid system. They need to change this whole thing up.

That video is wild. She straight up knocked her in the face. Holy shit. That didn't even seem like she was trying to work that punch. I wonder if they'll be any fallout from that. You took the words right outta my mouth. She just totally blasted her. Crazy.

Lawler could make a punch look good without hurting the other wrestler. That's great! More of that!

Earlier I saw a post somewhere where everyone was making fun of Lana for pulling her punches. Now you see why. There's no point in going full force in a cluster when the camera might not even be focused on you.
It's also funny that I posted last night that I rewound the tape and saw Nia punch Becky in the face but then saw so many posts talking about an "accidental elbow" that I was questioning my own vision. It was right there on the broadcast.

Hey WWE you know that probably big push you were going to give to Nia for the umpteenth time? How about transferring that to Ruby Riott??

And the strike wasn't even shown last night, we had to wait until a fan recording came out to see what happened.
