So this might be silly, but I legit think he was getting booed last night because of the Seahawks colors. They were in St. Louis, former home of the Rams. I'm not saying that's silly. I'm just saying that sounds like some "CM Punk didn't turn heel after he attacked Rock" stuff lol. Hey man.. Never underestimate sports rivalries. Like, Jesus Christ himself would get booed in Philly if he showed up in black and gold.

I wouldn't have had a problem with it if it had not happen to Dean already. I feel like the WWE must put all their eggs into Dean and they cannot screw this up. They have done multiple things to make sure nobody could overshadow Reigns, going so far as make other wrestlers look bad and underwhelming to protect him, they could at least do some of that with Dean. Make sure at least he's the only important guy that does a significant turn.

They’re going to cool off on the Shane heel turn and we’re getting Heel DB against babyface Shane at some point aren’t we?

Cowboys and Giants are about the only things we take our hate up to those mythological Santa-killing levels for these days. Everyone else is just a standard "Eh, gotta boo something" boo. These championships really dulled our edge, I tells ya.

It was a toss up between black and gold or silver and navy blue.

A buddy of mine is a cop that was working detail for the game on Sunday and basically yelled at George Bush when he heard him ask if the Cowboys had a chance.

I'm really curious as to how they handle the YES! chants. Does Bryan chide the fans for daring to chant that despite booing him?

This isn't really a goofy Russo swerve or hot shot booking move though. Maybe to do it right before Survivor Series, but not as an overall deal. What has been a theme of Bryan's return? Namely that he has been disappointing, that even he realizes he doesn't really have it anymore the way he used to. Miz hammered this point home several times, including when he won at SS. Bryan also has been acting semi heelish for a while now, attacking Miz at his house or threatening Miz/Maryse with what he thought at the time was an infant in the ring, generally acting kind of odd. The clean submission loss to Styles was the last straw. He needed to force a rematch somehow and didn't care if he cheated to win since he knows straight up he can't really beat AJ otherwise. Sorry but this isn't like Becky Lynch. This was a well put together heel turn. That said, other than Styles everyone on the brand is a total heel as far as top guys go. I think this might be a short term shock title change just to do Bryan/Lesnar at Survivor Series since Bryan has wanted that match for a while and it's really the only time they can do it. Would they really keep a title on Bryan long term given his health history? "I need to beat you, Rock"

He needed to be WWE champion that he had to dig down into a place that he never thought he’d had to go again to get the title. And I’m sure in “his” mind he thought why bother caring what they think? I’m sure in his eyes the fans haven’t cared as much about him as they used to, so what’s the big deal of losing an already fickle audience when you’ve got the WWE championship again?
