The other thing is, Bryan's gonna be a heel, but he works so good as a heel, are crowds really gonna boo? I kinda feel like we're gonna be in the Becky Loop where it feels like they're just making really good antiheroes by accident without making good faces or heels to combat them. I dont think so, Daniel was vicious and there was no gray spot concerning morality. Keep it up and an actual heel.

She was as vicious as you could possibly be, that doesn't always work.

The shitty feud with Miz made me lose interest in Bryan, so this turn is a like a big shot in the arm. I'm game!

Brock vs Bryan? Hope Brock is a little more careful than he was with the Singh brothers the other night.
Also Bryan turning heel is interesting, can he get the fans to turn on him? He the kind of guy who will relish the challenge anyway. Wouldn’t surprise me if he pitched the idea too.

Now that Bryan is champion, I want Bryan to win every match by kicking his opponents in the dick. Like, right out of the gate; just kick them in the dick.
Yes, I know he'd get DQ'd, but it's the stuff that folk heroes are made of.

So is Brock still rumored to not want to be taking any bumps at this match because if so, it's gonna suck.

I’ll give the WWE credit, they continued the story of AJ getting his junk attacked. Best storyline ever.

I don't know because here's something that's not being talked about much: Bryan today isn't near the level he was late 2013-2014. His cheers have decreased, his booking wasn't perfect, he was made out to be a joke a good amount of times, him wrestling with his wife didn't help him out much, Bryan was basically on the wrong path since he's returned as a full-time superstar. For as much as people say he was the "most over face they had" that doesn't translate to how he was prior to the heel turn. People even booed Bryan in that match before the heel turn as others mentioned in the thread. Bryan turned and people booed more which was a positive. I mean people were complaining about the Cass matches, Miz matches, his Rumble booking, people complained so much about Bryan so at least now he can be on the better path.
Bryan also seemed happy as hell that he turned. He's been waiting for this.
So yeah, even though Bryan was a legit fact the fact is that the guy wasn't being used like he needed to be used and this way he can reach that level again. Bryan got over when he turned heel to get the belt in 2011. If everything works out well he'll be hated but eventually he'll be cheered again. It just works out well.
Agreed It's funny how you instantly see guys like Nak, Orton and now DB who openly say they like being a heel more and it shows as soon as they got that turn Heels just get so much more freedom than faces
I think it's harder to be a face in today's WWE compared to being a heel. Well unless you're someone like Rollins and Styles. Everything about them screams face from their move set to their in-ring skills, background, they're cool but for most it's far harder. They limit you so much. Also New Day, they're probably the only face acts right now with that kind of freedom that can forever stay face due to their creativity. It just works for them.

Everyone turns on AJ. Nakamura, Uncle Joe, everyone. After awhile, maybe it's the guy who's getting turned on that's the problem

Heels just get so much more freedom than faces
WWE really needs to fix this aspect of their presentation and writing, because eventually it's just going to be everyone wanting to hang out with the cool kids at school while the goody two shoes rule abiders are gonna be getting their heads shoved in toilets. We're basically there as it is. It should be faces that have more freedom and heels that are restricted more but Vince is stuck on the fact you have to either smile or tell stupid jokes
There is nothing wrong with having a face who says they are going to f*** you up. Hell, AJ was the face with his feuds but you need more than just him

Bryan really did it.
He beat his injuries, beat those doctors, beat himself back into shape, beat those bad contracts, beat it into Vince and Triple H's heads that he was still that dude and now...he's champion again.
I'm so happy for him. He's living his dream.

Uso's to an extent to with the Uso penitentiary but WWE has taken a little bite out of them with them obviously not being featured as heavily on SD as they were last year

Trust this f***ing company to turn their most over, most likeable wrestler heel.
This is the same company that wouldn’t turn Cena and Reigns despite everyone booing them week in, week out.
I’m all for Bryan being Champion but come on. If you’re gonna turn one of them, turn AJ. He was the one who was way better as a heel.
I hope this means Bryan goes back to his old 2011 look.

This is the one instance where I want to see the usual cheap heat. Because Daniel Bryan can make cheap heat work like a mother f***er.

Honestly I think this should have happened sooner. He got lost in the shuffle with other acts like Rusev, AJ, and Becky that he had nothing creatively and lived off his return. He should be a guy that is pissed at the world and WWE for costing him 2 years of his career, he should be pissed that they made him a GM but when he was provoked he was either suspended or fined while nothing was done to those that provoked, he should be pissed that WWE wouldn't let him go so he could wrestle, forced him to retire in his home arena.
His story has far more legs with him as a heel than a face. I can see maybe later down the road but I think the shock was the place to go.

What revolutionary booking.
