First off, how do you 'gimmick' a cinder block? Watched the video, and then the majority of the match... it looked like the 'thrower' was the face? But really, how do you 'gimmick' a cinder block? I'd get it if the block was made out of something that looked like concrete but would just disintegrate when it was impacted... or just blocks of styrofoam painted concrete grey... but how the hell do you do that? And why the holy hell would you throw one? Some people shouldn't be in the business... IDK how one goes about gimmicking it I would guess styrophome painted to look like a cinder block but LU has done it a few times I'm not totally sure that's typical styrofoam just because of the ways it spits up lots of dust and breaks into chunks like that. It's possible there's a thin layer of plaster over it to create the dust effect, but either way it's a prop movies and TV have used for many years, the same thing as the martial artist breaking blocks with their head. Really basic prop that's not at all hard to make or to acquire if you're going out to get some, and if you're going to be using a f***ing cinder block in your match I see no reason why you wouldn't make sure it was a fake one. Or just don't put a f***ing cinder block into the array of weapons for a match.

First off, how do you 'gimmick' a cinder block? WWE has used fake cinder blocks several times over the years, most recently Rollins curb stomping Ambrose's head through one around 2014. Yeah theres fake cinder blocks dude. If they break in half they're gimmicked.

I've seen some awful chairshots, baseball bats, butchers meathooks, weedwackers etc used in some extremely stupid and dangerous wrestling spots. But that right there is probably the worst weapon I've seen used in wrestling.

Why was the cinderblock there to start with? I saw a longer video, the guy went to the back and brought two to the ring, just before he threw the one. Don't know if he's used them in previous matches and that's "his thing"... don't want to know.

Yeah this is just bonkers.

This is why I hate most hardcore wrestling. Weapons can be used creatively to tell a story. Think about Jeff Hardy vs Undertaker in a ladder match (Jeff climbing the "ladder", getting so close, but so far).
This is just crap.

Wow, they're still trying to do the crappy ECW hardcore stuff? That was played out 20 years ago...

I just remember it looking stupid.

I just remember it looking stupid. Yea, before he even hit Stone Cold it was broken in half and just shattered like dust on impact
This shit with a real cinderblock is f**ing stupid and dude should be in jail. The biggest stupid thing done since Eddie Edwards and Sami Calihan didn't use a gimmick bat and it almost cost Eddie his eye

I just remember it looking stupid. I remember Bischoff breaking a cinderblock over J.R's head on Raw and then J.R showing up with a bandaid on his head at the No Way Out 03 PPV days later.

I am hoping someone can translate this for me, but reading a facebook status by him in Spanish, it feels like he is justifying the cinder block throw by saying the opponent stiffed him with several chair shots in the match: Here is the post: Quiero pedir una disculpa deportiva El Cuervo ala afición que asistió ala arena López Mateos pero son gajes del oficio a mí el cuervo me dio alrededor de 7 sillasos muy fuertes y desgraciadamente el ladrillo le pegó en la nuca y era para la espalda no terminó la lucha pero bueno a rajarse a su pueblo ya está hecho "I want to apologize to Cuervo and the people in the arena but it's matters of the workplace. El Cuervo hit me very hard 7 times and unfortunately the brick hit him in the neck when it was meant for his back. He didn't finish the match but what's done is done" (more less) Also "I am a dumb f***" That last part might just be me. Oh, so you wanted to paralyze him from the waste down instead of the neck down? What a moron. On so many levels this guy has to be the dumbest in wrestling
