As was I. Just for 100% transparency. They had 4 pieces of cardboard one on each side of the inside of the box the dvds are in the center and then a bunch of gum packs on each side to hold them in place and then a few packs sprinkled on top.It was unique. Well, was the gum still good? Or was it like Topps gum?

"We need to use gum to pack these things" is the kind of slapshod solution you make during a move because you're out of packing peanuts but you can't risk your nice anime figures breaking in the truth, not by an actual f***ing business. God, TNA is so beautiful.

Wait, are we talking literal packs of chewing gum? Yes chewing gum I believe it was Orbit Gum I might be mistaken the brand but it was atleast 15 packs of chewing gum and that caught me off guard because I had ordered with them in the past and they’d used a ton of packing peanuts and instead this time they decided to use gum. With all that said my dvd where locked in a chewing gum Cacoon securely they didn’t move in shipping and arrived in pristine condition so who am I to doubt their methods. One day when TNA limps into obscurity for the final time, this story deserves to be part of their legacy. It's just so TNA.

I'm speechless I ordered something once from them and it came with a pack of I want to say 5 Gum. And I'm also pretty sure it was past its best by date. Edit: Thinking about it a little more, I think it was actually a shit ton of 5 Gum. Like 10 packs or something.

And the fact that it was actually a successful packing material that delivered items undamaged may be the most TNA thing of all

Well now I want to order some crap from their website and I will be very disappointed if it doesn't come packed in pouches of Big League Chew.

I'm speechless I remember a thread about TNA adding gum to their orders. Thought that thread was here..nope it was over at DVDVR. One guy ordered a Brown Bag Special. And in the box was a second Brown bag, filled with gum.

Gum, not a very effective packing material at all. 100% Truth they sent 2 dvds in a HUGE box that could have held 20 dvds easy and they were being held in place by 4 walls of gum packs with some more gum packs on top it was like they ran out of packing peanuts or bubble wrap but had an over abundance of gum and I was baffled it was very TNA. ...I was joking, they actually did that? How cheap is gum in Nashville?

And to go to bat for once for TNA, at least their bag is at least the same quality as the "canvas" bag that came with the Fallout 76 pack.

How cheap is gum in Nashville? It took like 2+weeks to get to me because they did the free shipping gimmick so they shipped it the cheapest and slowest way they could which I was fine with but to then fill the box with $15 or $20 worth of chewing gum didn’t seem cost effective to me but maybe gum is really cheap in Nashville.

Now I imagine when they lost their warehouse, the person renting it to them walked in and found stacks of gum up to the ceiling and just went "Ok, that's the final straw, you're out of here"

What a shame. I did their black Friday sale, 2009 I think. I did 2 orders and got some great DVDs which turned in to watching impact fairly regularly through 2014. Sadly, I couldn't tell you much anymore about what I watched.
