omg I as a wrestling fan would love this. The one night out of the year (Draft Lottery/trades/etc.) where FOX and USA have more power than Vince for their future storylines omg In Reality that is gonna be every Night, Come 2019. The Company NEEDS Fox and the Saudis Happy so Bad, it is not even Funny.

Maybe WWE should stop making Smackdown look awful for no good reason then? I have no idea what that Survivor Series sweep was about, but it made about as much sense as Shane winning that tourney. Remember when there was a contingent that was convinced this could potentially lead to an awesome story or shake things up for Smackdown and then nothing happened?

If they want to make SDLive the 'A brand' they have a great storyline starting point to do a TNT/USA like Monday Night Wars throwback feud between FOX/USA Networks. RAW winning six to nothing, is the last tip of the cap to USA for hosting both SDLive and RAW and their continuing on with just RAW-- it's a battle cry to FOX to put up or shut up if they want/desire to go Eric Bischoff on USA and undermine RAW by stealing talent like Ronda. If that's what Vince and WWE planned for, mission accomplished!

Even if you don't watch either show that much, just watching the exchanges would be really interesting.

Regardless of what Fox wants I feel like SmackDown's going to be treated like the firm second place show within a few months. WWE can't help themselves. They'll probably give them Rousey but it's just going to lead to her significance within the company dropping compared to whoever's on Raw.

Overall I would expect the whole Fox deal to be a total fiasco within a couple of months. SD right now is lucky to scrape by with a little over 2 million viewers, so where are these extra people going to magically come from? SD is already a better show than Raw with a better actual roster anyway. Good grief, Raw is so bereft of talent they had Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre all over the place. SD is a show that roster wise is so loaded they can't figure out how to feature everyone on a weekly basis. SD already has AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev, Charlotte, Becky, Asuka, The New Day, The Bar, and The Usos. That's a hell of a roster, easily better than the junk Raw roster. It seemed like the draft this year gutted Raw to prop up SD for the Fox move, but then at Survivor Series they just buried SD 6 feet under.
There's also this to consider. Why does Fox care about Rousey so much? She's shown zero signs of being any sort of ratings draw.

The shows actually being on different networks actually gives a plausible motivation for competition between the shows at least.

Not to mention USA will be paying more for Raw than FOX is for Smackdown. Fox is paying more per hour which is what matters more in the industry when it comes to selling advertising, etc... USA paid more for 3 hours but they get to make more $ with 3 hours worth of commercials.

Moreover, a significant chunk of the Raw roster can't be bothered with SmackDown even with it on Tuesday nights. Why would more people suddenly watch just because it's on network TV if it's now going to be on Fridays? To me the whole thing just has, "Disaster Fox is going to regret," written all over it.

I guess this means Nia is winning the belt by some shenanigans and Ronda is winning the Royal Rumble. I did think Asuka may win the belt at TLC to free up Becky to win the Rumble, but maybe Asuka is just there to take the fall to keep Becky & Charlotte strong.

Rest easy, Asuka's not there to take the fall given it's... Y'know, a TLC match. No one gets pinned.

By the time Fox gets everything they want, Raw will be left with Baron Corbin opening and closing shows...oh wait. Restaurant Baron Corbin is his best role.
