At least Miami is a decent team- still in the WC hunt. Oh BTW, Miami already beat Oakland I know the Patriots have lost to both, but if Tennessee or Miami come to Foxboro for a playoff game, I would fully expect New England to lay waste to both. And that’s not a revenge thing, that’s a talent thing. The intrigue would be BAL/Chargers. Miami/New England is a home cooking series and the Titans... well, we saw what happened last year.

Tonight’s going to be a big test for me in terms of how much I’m buying the Bears as a threat in the NFC. I was proven impossibly wrong with Nick Foles’ run to a Super Bowl MVP last season, yet I still have my doubts about a team led by a league-average quarterback like Mitchell Trubisky being contenders.

I still think the Bears are 1 or 2 years away at least from reaching their peak potential. THIS year, I don't think they will win it all. Even if they can defeat the Rams tonight, I couldn't really see them winning a postseason rematch which would most likely be at the Rams.

Gruden traded Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper. What an idiot. For whatever reason, it appeared they couldn’t resign him. Getting two firsts for a player you are going to lose is a good deal. As far as Cooper goes, he had been shitting the bed in Oakland, so if anything his success in Dallas suggests he had been half-assing it the last couple of years.

Even so, clearly Gruden shoulda stayed in the booth. The game has passed him by.

Akiem Hicks might be the most underrated player in the league. Dude’s a beast.

They had the Rams looking like Jeff Fisher came back.

They had the Rams looking like Jeff Fisher came back. Winning the trench war and Sean McVay's inability to adjust playcalling. I get it being close enough, but these intermediate routes weren't helping. A much needed reality loss before playoffs.
