Rip. Personal problems aside one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step into the ring and the person that made me a hardcore fan.

Damn this is tough. From all accounts Dynamite was a bully and a prick, and many believed that he got what he deserved with how his life inevitably turned out.
But there is no getting away from the fact that, bell to bell, he was one of the greatest to ever lace a pair of boots. His matches with Tiger Mask were light years ahead of their time, and still have a massive influence on wrestling nearly 40 years after the fact.
I just really hope he finds the peace in death that he never had in life.

The best at their craft are often the most miserable in their daily lives.
As amazing a talent in the ring as he was a dickhead out of it. One of the best to ever set foot in the ring and at least 20 years ahead of his time: just unbelievable in the ring. RIP

I was fortunate to have sat ringside for many great house shows at MSG during his time at the top. Let me say without a doubt that Dynamite Kid was unbelievably great in the ring. He deserves to be posthumously inducted into WWE HOF, if hes not in already.
R.I.P. and thanks for the memories.

He was thirty eight when he became disabled, he never got to enjoy life. Karma is funny that way. Injecting dogs with drugs and steroids and waking your wife in the middle of the night with a gun to her head may not lead to the universe giving you good things. Karma doesn’t exist.

While he was not necessarily the nicest person to people, he was still someone's father, at least. I hope for peace, for his family, and that he can find peace, where he had pain in life.

Damn. I loved to see him in the ring. He was a performer that made the who thing seem real.
That's why the stories that have come out about him behind the curtain hurt so...
Rest in peace, sir.

I have nothing but respect for his innovations in both tag team and cruiserweight wrestling. One of the very best. Shame about the rest, but rest in peace regardless.

Not the best father by a mile but his daughter ended up forgiving him apparently. He also made amends with Harry. I haven’t watch his highspots documentary but according to its director Jake Manning, Tom appeared to be sorry about stuff he did. Again I don’t want to appear that I’m defending the guy, he was evil, he admitted most of the stuff he’s accused off. He hurt a lot of people on purpose. That being said, his body turned into his prison and he suffered through it for twenty two years, during that time apparently he evaluated his whole life and the stuff he did.

one of the best ever. It’s a shame. He burned himself out at a young age
And shame on them for not putting him in the HOF a long time ago. Why do you have to wait for people to die before you put them in. Put your egos and vendettas aside for a change and think of their contributions. The world won’t end if you put your ego aside for a day

Well I'm sure a lot of the horrible things he did was rage and Roid Induced. The guy looked like he was on more hormones than a Belmont winner Billington’s body wasn’t built for so much muscle, he was probably smaller than the five foot eight he was billed as. Now the reason why he’s not in the HOF, he was part of the concussion lawsuit, he also admitted to a lot of shit he was accused of.

Supposedly he made peace with at least his daughter. Dynamite was a miserable person in his early life and suffered due to those decisions hopefully in his later years be made peace with those he hurt.

It's easier to praise someone in death and look past their faults then when they are alive because you tend have more respect for the dead
In saying that, as people have said dude was an innovator and hopefully he did make amends over his life before his time ran out. RIP, 60 is young to go

He's a complicated person to really morn. You can whitewash everything bad, but that wouldn't be right or accurate. I'm sad for my childhood that another major reason of my being a wrestling fan is now gone.
His family and friends may find comfort that he's no longer suffering. That's all I can hope at this point.

Very difficult to pay tribute to Tom Billington as he was such a nasty piece of work but as The Dynamite Kid,he was fantastic, an all time great undoubted.
