I wonder who had the bigger epic fail today, the Cowboys or the Seahawks. Cowboys, while they got destroyed, lost to a team that’s fighting for a playoffs spot. What’s the Seahawks’ excuse?

The Steelers tried to give the game to the Patriots but thier shit offensive effort and dumb penalties wouldn't let them.
It is just not thier year.

Yeah, I thought the Seahawks had to have a bunch of turnovers, but they didn't even have that excuse. They just lost fair and square.

Ha, I think it was LeBatard show that said Tomlin always has a face like a parent whose kid came home 3 hours late from curfew.

My town’s casino just legalized sports gambling, and the local paper ran a story about this guy who was one of the first people to place a bet.
He bet $10,000 on the Patriots.

That’s why it’s hard for me to get too frustrated about today’s loss. The realization has set in that the Patriots may win a game or two in the playoffs, but they’re probably not going to the Super Bowl and they’re definitely not winning the championship. It’s just not their year. The talent isn’t there on either side of the ball, the defense looks slow and plodding, and the skill position players are letting down Tom Brady just as his age is starting to show. They’ll go 11-5 and win the AFC East, but it’s not going to be a long January for the Patriots this season.

Gronk doesn't look anything like himself either.
The injuries seem to have finally caught up.

So, if Arizona and Oakland finish 3-13, do we get the first pick since we lost to them?

Thing is there may not be a team that gets to that level of dominance for a long time, if ever.

It’s like the Eagles remembered that they have to make the playoffs to defend their championship.

Pats are basically forced to try and draft the future QB.
I mean people can talk about Brady showing signs of decline but he'll be around 30 TD's, probably 10 INTs and 4500 yards in an "off" year.
But yeah Gronk still can block, still has great hands, but no burst, crap separation and he becomes just another "OK" threat at tight end.
I actually think the Patriots defense is a couple of younger , faster playmakers away from being a top ten D, but theres a lot of work to do on offense planning for the future.

It's looking like the Rams peaked after that epic encounter with the Chiefs. They look like they're going to spiral right into a Divisional Round L to finish their season.
