The only thing that can change the ratings is completely changing the entire format of these shows. That's something that can probably only be done if Triple H completely takes over. Whether you think he'll be better than Vince, whether you think he'll be worse than Vince, one thing's sure: it'll be a unique change not seen in this company's format for decades. That's needed.
But I don't think it'll be that. I think it'll just be some bullshit.

NXT shows that he can put the right people in place to make good shows happen, he lost Dusty Rhodes, and then he lost Ryan Ward to Smackdown, and I don't know who books NXT now but he's managed to keep NXT in good hands throughout so that's at least a positive. I wonder if Triple H even wants to be as hands on with the show as Vince is.

I'm wondering what the endgame on all this is. He's coming back to "shake things up" right after an episode where they went super-meta regarding the show's quality. It's like they're purposely torpedoing the show or the concept or something so that they can change things up drastically, and not just something like a draft. Ummm.... the endgame is ob-v ICO-PRO banners, hanging from the rafters. ...you gotta want it!

To be fair, if we want Becky/Ronda. That unfortunately means that she’ll have to be moved to Raw.
Whether Vince or whoever turns her back into a “You people” heel again to get Ronda over is going to make this move sink or swim. But I suppose they would’ve kept her one of those heels regardless if they didn’t see money in her so we’ll see.

He's gonna be there to publicly put up an invisible shield to ward off falling ratings.

He's been able to adapt to the changes and NXT is still pretty good, better than Raw and SDL, so yeah I wonder how he'd do if he had that type of control over the main shows. I think if he did then more than likely he'd hand NXT completely over to Shawn and the other NXT backstage personnel.

The crowd will sing along with his theme song, do the “bow down” motion to him, and chant “welcome back,” probably. Then after the show they’ll go online and talk about how Vince is old and out of touch and desperately needs to hang it up.

Working all the time, having virtually no free life or hobbies or side things, just work work work for decades long after it's needed or healthy. I'm sure there is a lot of respect or Vince but I also hope nobody decides to follow in those footsteps and that his successors can strike a healthier work/life balance.

To be honest this might very well be a network decision to boost ratings as USA loves their authority angles for some weird reason. Oh brotha.

My guess would be that Vince fires Big Breakfast Baron due to "getting his emotions get in the way of what's best for business" and replaces him with Alexa. Either that or he announces that he's fighting Kurt and whoever wins gets to be the permanent GM.

Coming off the announcement that Vince McMahon will be appearing on Monday's RAW, Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com discussed how WWE could be planning something big to get viewers engaged in the product again: “For those of you who hate RAW, all I’m going to do is tell you that the belief within WWE is that — take this for what it’s worth — they believe it is all turning around in January. Apparently, they have some sort of idea and they think it’s all turning around in January and that the ratings in January are going to be good again. The show is going to be better and something big is going to happen.” “Of course, everybody is going to be speculating all sorts of crazy things. Young Bucks, this, that. Don’t get your hopes up, everybody.” “I don’t know what they’re thinking, but they seem to believe that in January, this thing’s turning around.” lol ok If WWE thinks people are going to love it, it's probably going to be outright garbage.

It's legit weird to me people want to see the old dude do the same old shit. At some point, it's just kinda sad. He was one of the greatest heel characters ever. Bar none. But that time is LONG past.
If I want to see Evil Vince, there's plenty of footage that won't make go "f*** he looks tired."

The return of Raw Supershow with both Brands or a superstar shakeup which won’t fix the real problem of them needing to overhaul the way they write tv.

Panic move to try to boost ratings with nostalgia instead of actually doing something interesting, yay! Vince resorting to cheap nostalgia instead of good writing?
