When Dolph tried to become Evan Bourne or Ted Jr It's definitely Giant Evan Bourne He did that for like 1 week and put it right back Blonde because he def had "plain wrestler" vibes with the brown hair
Didn't he make the change because the blond was killing his hair ?
In saying that though, I do think that look with the trunks and his hair short and blonde was his best look

The Christian we know and love today started out as seemingly an actual superhero called Captain Charisma. Or was this a fever dream I had? . He dressed up as a superhero on an edition of Raw in late 2004 named "Captain Charisma" as punishment, I think he was facing Shelton Benjamin that night. It was pretty funny from what I remember. EDIT: Triple and the rest of DX locking Shawn Michaels out of the arena causing him to get his ass beaten by the Corporation on the 1/4/99 Raw, after Shawn turned back into a face earlier that night, thought that was hilarious.

Dean Ambrose being implied as the "leader" of the Shield. All 3 guys were kind of credited as the leader at various points. Ambrose first, then Rollins, then Reigns at the end.

Drew had a spell as a party pooper when he hated parties and fun. He had a catchphrase, "this party just got pooped" or something like that.
I think he said it after he beat some comedy goof up or interrupted a "we're having fun" segment.

I think he said it after he beat some comedy goof up or interrupted a "we're having fun" segment. Drew was facing R Truth. Drew got the jobber already in the ring entrance. R Truth rapped his way down and when he climbed through the ropes Drew kicked him in the head then DDTed him. Told everyone that the partys over.

Think the party pooper thing lasted a month or so. I remember him doing it in a backstage party. He tipped the table or something.

Didn't Curtis Axel have a panty thief gimmick on NXT? Or was it Johnny Curtis?
Vaguely remember he sniffed a pair of Natalya's pants to distract Tyson Kidd.

Dirty Curty was a great gimmick.

Dean Ambrose being implied as the "leader" of the Shield. That seems to have gotten phased out when he started getting obnoxious toward them about his first US title reign and they had their first tease at a break-up that left Ambrose and Reigns fighting each other and Seth working to get them back on the same page. Prior to that, Ambrose was definitely the point man, always being the first in their entrance, almost always being the one communicating in promos, etc. When they broke up and they referred to Seth as the Architect, I was so puzzled because I had ALWAYS thought of Dean as the leader.

It was, but apparently that's something you don't bring up to Christian himself - thus why I doubt it'll ever get referenced on the E&C show unless Hurricane Helms can twist his arm. On the subject of Superheroes, we knew Hurricane could fly (see the Rock promos!) Rosey(RIP) COULD fly(he sound more like an old biplane that Helms' whoooooosh) then he couldn't fly anymore. I wonder if that might have been an inside reference to hip issues he had after his 3MW run.

Michelle McCool originally being a sexy teacher.
Undertaker's original ring name being Kane The Undertaker.
I remember Supreme Fighting Machine Kama being some kind of bounty hunter maybe? Before becoming just a shoot fighter. Also in 2002 just before leaving WWE, Godfather turned heel, abandoned the Hoes and started wrestling wearing jeans, vest and bandana.
Chris Jericho in early WWF being a sort of charismatic "cult leader" ala Tom Cruise in Magnolia.
Faarooq as a gladiator managed by Sunny.
Goldust having tourette's syndrome after being electrocuted.
Edge hanging around on subway trains and fighting people in the streets during his vignettes was dropped when he quickly adopted the "gothic" lifestyle.
Val Venis pairing up with Trish and going all serious business before being kidnapped and brainwashed by RTC.
Test having immunity from being fired in 2001-2002.
Lance Storm running over Goldberg on Jericho's orders.

Speaking of Drew's party pooper gimmick.
Didn't Axel Rose have a similar one? After he finished being the party guy. I remember he cut a promo saying "There'll be no more fun." Or something like that.
