Next Weeks RAW already sounds like a f***ing disaster. It’s honest to God frustrating. I WANT to believe it’ll get better, that MAYBE it will change... but it just isn’t. Just more of the same bland stuff. I have a shtick of complaining and going home to NXT. Guess might as well live up to it. There is nothing here for me besides The Man.

It wasn't a bad Raw, but it didn't set the world on fire either. Yeah, I think people shat on this from the jump because they set their expectations too high. In fairness, they have every right to as it seemed like a big announcement and they kept hammering home that it was something different when it was just the same old Raw. However, there were some highlights in there. The gauntlet, Corbin getting his comeuppance again (way too long though), The revival earning a shot at the titles, and Breeze getting screentime.

Nothing frustrates me more than being told they’re listening to the fans now, and then having Natalya win the big main event. Nobody f***ing cares about Natalya, man.

Whoever wants to get suspended for it. Spoilers get their own thread. My bad. I'm here live I won't post anymore from the arena tonight No worries, I wasn't directing that at anyone in particular. I've pinned a thread for the spoilers, you're welcome to put them there. Thanks!

Have her get overly aggressive against her friend (because all Ronda cares about is winning) and make that her motivation moving forward
Becky is already a tweener and needs to stay that way
Also how long is Ronda contract, is there a chance she takes a break after Mania because to her credit she has been full force more so than I expected her to be

Hold on, Braun actually gets to use his WWE name in a movie? That's unprecedented. No he doesn't. His character's name in the movie is "Bra wn". Totally different.

You gotta appreciate that “I finally pooped after a week!” look she gets on her face after she wins and looks back to the ring on her way out.

To me, it gets the crowd invested in the top girl, in which case Bayley, to run through the gauntlet and make her case that she’s ready for Ronda. I’m sorry but I just don’t see how this gauntlet is ridiculous. If I were a wrestler and wrestling was real I would be so pissed off if I were booked number one in a gauntlet match for an important opportunity. From a performance perspective I get that it's fun to watch a babyface put on an ironman performance in such a match, but from a logical perspective it's just an unfair match, I have no idea how it can be seen any other way. This is the kind of match a heel boss puts a babyface in because he/she hates them. The only difference here is the sales pitch is "RAH! Opportunity!" Seth Rollins started calling himself "Monday Night Rollins" and was justified after he wrestled for almost 2 hours in a Gauntlet Match as #1. Yeah, it's a tough Sisyphian struggle to overcome for a underdog/babyface if they enter first like Bayley or Seth, but if you win you are made. Even if you ultimately lose like Seth or Bayley, you've pinned CLEAN a bunch of Superstars after you've had the disadvantage of being #1 which win or lose has upped your Power Ranking regardless.

Even if you ultimately lose like Seth or Bayley, you've pinned CLEAN a bunch of Superstars after you've had the disadvantage of being #1 which win or lose has upped your Power Ranking regardless. All good points if this were how WWE operates. If they actually had some rules added that benefit a wrestler for putting in a few wins more than everyone else, then that would ease my mind on this thing. There is no expectation that Bayley's wins meant anything going into the next shows, and I would bet it doesn't. The way WWE presented this match was "hey, you girls want a shot? Here's a cool way to get it!" And Bayley marched into a guaranteed loss with a smile on her face. Bayley, who along with her friend Sasha, is tearing it up in a tag team division that doesn't exist. She just comes off really oblivious in this case, and the fact that nobody makes reference to how unfair the match is comes across to me that they don't even get it. Gauntlet matches are fun to watch, but it needs some kind of caveat added to it to justify the disadvantaged early entrants, it needs to actually acknowledge rewards for exceptional performances, WWE is not good enough at making me care too much about the journey here, when it doesn't really matter.

Someone found the show notes. I'm... very confused by the mix of kayfabe and real names in the Producer section.

Someone found the show notes. I'm... very confused by the mix of kayfabe and real names in the Producer section. It’s probably just based on what people call them. Like, everybody always refers to Tyson Kidd as TJ.

Just want to add that Gauntlet matches are the worst match ever.A lazy way to include multiple 1x1 matches you want.Plus it is a f***ing awful way of choosing a numbe rone contender. Its only use is for heels vs a face and even then it is plagued by superman booking

Hmm I kinda like the fact that TJ produced the match that Nattie beat Sasha in (clean after Nattie had already pinned 2 other women in the Gauntlet) Nattie is a great TV Champ while her similarly aligned friend Ronda can be the PPV Champ that people pay money to see, and a TV match between the 2 for Ronda's PPV/Main event title belt can only bolster Nattie's cred when she jobs, or heaven's to murgatroid she actually pins Ronda Rousey clean.
