I mean it's TNA/Impact... them taking talented people and horribly misusing them is kinda what they always do. Well they did good with a lot of people. But people praising the current managment may have been a little too fast in thinking they were that competent at pushing talent. Mundo lacks a few things but you should be able to focus on what he does well a la Heyman but it doesn't seem to be the case. Personally He is what I thought he was but we let him off the hook. Seriously, he is talented in the ring, comes in with hype but everything quickly come down to Earth after a while and gets exposed. He is someone that simply lacks the "It" factor.

What I have learned specifically about him and it became crystal clear once he got to Impact.
He is that actor/that wrestler that in order to get the best out of him he needs proper direction and great writing.
There are some that can overcome just about any shit because of their natural talent....Johnny is not one of them which is why I always point it out that the best times during his career is when Chris Dejoseph was writing for him.

Yea he's not a guy who can make things off the fly
If you give him really good direction he can make it work but he's not a guy you can leave to his own devices and say be great

That's how it has been for 99.99% of the wrestlers on national TV. Very, very few can improvise, actually since the original national tv improviser Roddy Piper there has only been handful that can actually do it every single night like he did. From top of my head Jessie Ventura, Macho Man, Bobby Heenan, Rick Rude, Jack Roberts, Macho Man, Steve Austin, Rock and that's about it when it comes to main event headliners.
