Tyler Matrix is a young guy who got his start in 2015 and was mainly based out of Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) for his first couple of years, where he became one of their top guys. In 2018, Matrix has started branching out to other midwestern independents like Glory Pro, Rockstar Pro, and Pro Wrestling Freedom where he is starting to see higher profile matches. Style-wise, he is an athletic, high energy flyer with plenty of strikes and technical wrestling. You can see the obvious Chris Jericho and Jeff Hardy influences in his work. I think the kid has plenty of potential, and I hope one of the bigger promotions give him a chance in the next year or so.
Here is a fine match against Myron Reed
And another fine showing against Austin Theory. And if you are new to Austin Theory, keep in mind that Theory has only been wrestling for about two years, and is an incredible athlete who is a lock for NXT in a couple of years. He is also the current Evolve champion. In this match, Matrix hangs with him just fine.

First I've heard of Matrix, and I'm liking what I'm seeing. It gets lost sometimes in how much WWE is signing away major names from the indies, but these threads are lining up a great slate of potential names to step up and be that next generation of indie stars and showing that there really is no end to the amount of people out there who are doing great stuff. I really dig what you're doing here.
