Remember when it was the Joan Jett song instead? That was better. Oh wait. Wrong Joan Jett song.... I love that song.

Well, unless they have a massive collapse in the next 3 1/2 minutes, the Colts are heading back to the playoffs.

The Titans are being generous that way.

Titans... are not a good team
They'd be just as likely to be 6-10 next year than be playoff contenders.

Titans... are not a good team They'd be just as likely to be 6-10 next year than be playoff contenders. A little more line depth is what they desperately need. Well, that and a starting QB who isn’t made of wet cardboard. Mariota has missed so many games due to injury.

Barring an miracle (which WONT HAPPEN), the funeral arrangements for the Titans' season are well under way

Injured or slightly better than mediocre. This offense is terrible and Henry can be pretty good but they’re bottom half next year no doubt

And the Steelers are officially eliminated. Expect their QB to go on his radio show tomorrow and bitch again that the team drafted a QB when they could have gotten him another weapon instead.

At least this year the right teams are in from the AFC. Last year the Bills and Titans got in and one actually won a game in ill advised fashion if you want decent match ups (Titans were stomped by NE the next round). The Colts are conclusively a better team than TN so it would have been dreadful if they hadn't won this tonight. Much like the Ravens are currently a far better team than the Steelers, so justice was served there. Imagine if this crap Steelers team that lost 4 of its last 6 (with 1 win being this epic 16-13 win over Cincy with a backup QB today) actually got in over a hot Ravens team with Lamar Jackson. On the NFC side I'm actually fairly proud of the Bears for beating up on Minnesota today and getting rid of a division rival. However, they get a tougher opponent now in a rejuvenated Philly with Foles back in the lineup. It sort of reminds me of the Phillies trying like crazy to beat the Braves in 2011, which they did, but that let in a far scarier and hotter Cardinals team that upset them and went all the way.

The AFC seems more landmine than cakewalk this year. If the worst AFC QB is Lamar Jackson, that's a HUGE improvment over the likes of Bortles/Osweiler in recent years.

The NFC I think it's pretty much down between Saints, Bears, and Rams. I feel bad for the Eagles because having to play AT Chicago with that defense is going to be hell. Cowboys VS Seahawks is going to be a good match. Cowboys are good at home but when Wilson is on fire, he's about as good as any QB in the NFL.
The AFC on the other hand is going to be a flatout blood bath. Any 6 teams playing I could see playing in the big dance come February. Colts are red hot and I could see upsetting the Texans. Chargers have a tall order taking on a team that beat them a few weeks ago. Rivers better be having a good day if they have any chance to survive the Ravens.

Call me crazy, but I think this is New England's final real legit shot at a Super Bowl in this era.
Brady at 42 isn't going to turn back the clock next year, Belichick is no spring chicken, the roster is getting older, the talent gap is a little thinner, the AFC seems a lot better than in years past.

Not really a crazy viewpoint. But if they make some offseason moves, particularly in their WR core and either draft or pick up a TE as either Gronk insurance or replacement, they'll still be in the conversation.

They need an offseason overhaul. Feels like New England is the aging king just trying to hang on for as long as they can
