Total conspiracy theory that has 0 merits and shouldn't be taken seriously.
AEW, Kenny, and Marty are all in (no pun intended) on a crazy plan. Bucks/Cody have their own promotion and get it going. Marty stays back in ROH with the insight of how that company is moving forward. Kenny goes to the WWE to get the intel.
Kenny and Marty then leave as soon as they can...join AEW and try to bring everything and everyone down.
----
Ok, away from crazy theories. I don't think he ends up in WWE. Feel like he's either going to stay loyal to NJPW where he's made a huge name for himself or he joins his buddies in making AEW as best as it can be.

From all that has been said about Omega, the two things that seem to always come up are his love of Japan and wanting a creative outlet in wrestling. I cannot see WWE giving him the freedom to express himself the way he desires.
To me, after hearing the reports about ROH, AEW, and NJPW all meeting yesterday, I think they combine to make him a deal that he accepts. ROH can get him for a few big cards while he splits time between AEW and NJPW.

I think yeah, he’ll probably end up doing New Japan, and AEW and..maybe ROH? He just seems like he values his freedom, and friendship and creativity, all of which would be stripped by Vince’s 73 year old ass.
But I wouldn’t even blame him for taking the WWEs offer. Especially if it’s what it’s rumored to be. Any one of us would have difficulty saying no to a ridiculous amount of cash.

I think he'll end up in AEW but if I were him I'd take that crazy WWE offer. You give him that offer, the "AJ Styles 3 year" template, the creative freedom like New Day and he'll be great. Just depends on how they use him. If they use him half as good as they’ve done AJ he’s good Yeah AJ's template is the premiere template for any major star. If he somehow ended up in WWE I'd actually be cool with him being one of the reasons New Day breaks up. Xavier helps Kenny join the company and is his buddy, Kofi turns on Big E to be a big heel as Big E becomes a big face. Works for all guys. Omega is very loyal though so if WWE ends up getting him then that offer must be insane. Meltzer needs to explain what he means by his statements.

My guess is he ends up in WWE. It’s WWE’s best chance to thwart AEW before it begins. I think that’s a bit of an exaggeration. The people interested in The Elite are going to turn in to AEW whether Kenny is there or not. He’d be a hell of an asset but he isn’t going to make or break the company. He will without a doubt move the needle for the type of fan that AEW will be targeting. Doesn’t mean the company would be destroyed but Omega is a difference maker.

I wouldn't want to see Kenny in the Royal Rumble though. I'd prefer WWE to hype his debut match at Wrestlemania against a huge star.

He’s WWE bound and I really wish I hadn’t bought G1 Supercard @ MSG. I don’t think he is, but if you’re selling tickets at face value, let me know.

I'm guessing he's staying with NJPW and will go overseas to work AEW and ROH shows as well. I can't see him going to WWE. If he wasn't committed to primarily working in Japan for the long-term, he never would've gotten Japanese citizenship. Especially since Japan doesn't do dual citizenships.

If he gets a good offer and assurances he gets the same treatment AJ got, then a couple of years in WWE would surely be tempting.
If AEW are offering the same sort of money then I can’t see him not going there but I can’t believe they are really going to offer that sort of money straight off the bat. That seems like a recipe for disaster.

This is looking more and more like we're gonna have serious competition again since WCW left, esp. if you have somebody that can match the WWE in salaries. Most often than not most people could not say no to WWE cause it was too much money. Now they will have the choice to go somewhere where they actually want to go. It is a huge change. Look TNA had far less than that and when they were on Spike they could still get guys that prefered them than to go to the WWE. For years they could keep Sting going for example. I'm betting Omega goes to AEW. And the same with a lot of disgruntled WWE guys.

Throwing around WCW levels of money straight away is both a statement of intent but also presents an interesting change in landscape
because now it becomes a buyers market....AEW and WWE are now throwing around stacks of equal ammount...so now wrestlers atleast those that have the ability to really swindle can really shop themselves around and see who overpays for their talents.
Somewhere Kevin Nash is digging out his graph to cash in.

They better have some sort of big TV deal with some serious rights fees to justify signing guys to this kind of money. They might just end up being like early 90s WCW when they signed a bunch of big name free agent guys (Rude, Bulldog, Sid), paid them a ton, and then had no way to actually monetize it.
Would Omega even be allowed to do the One Winged Angel in WWE?
