Crazy world we live in where WOW gets a revival. I remember catching a few episodes during the first run. Terri Gold wasn't bad in the ring and might as well have been the precursor to NXT face era Alexa Bliss.

Spoilers if you haven’t watched yet:
I was mostly enjoying it up until the main event of the first show got about 3 minutes and ended on a count out when Tessa Blanchard came out and attempted to murder Santana’s sick, wheelchair-bound father by twisting up his oxygen tube.
I hate a non-finish in the first show, and that’s a big friggin swing to take in your first episode too. Some of the camera cuts combined with the bright colors weren’t great for my motion sickness either.
But I liked the character vignettes and whatnot. Kiera Hogan already has more of a character going than she has in Impact, and she’s been there for a pretty good amount of time already.

The oxygen tube thing is a fun terrible person heel spot to do, but yeah, that's a weird first show thing to do. You'd expect it to either be a second to last match, or to come a few episodes in, after the audience had a chance to know the characters a bit more.

Santana’s dad’s selling was a legit laugh out loud moment though. It was all absurd but in a fun way. But yeah that’s something you save for down the line, and definitely not throw away your first main event for it. EDIT: I forgot the fact that her dad’s name is Kenny G added to the absurdity of it all. Someone attempted to murder Kenny G on a wrestling show.

From someone who couldn't watch, first impressions? Not too bad, the vignettes and character promos are done similar to Lucha Underground. They have more than just Mean girl who thinks she's sexier and better than everyone. The 2nd match was the best overall in quality.
Main Event finish was dumb though

Loved that for the main event Shaul Guerrero said it had a 1 hour time limit, when there was 5 minutes left in the show. You knew they wouldn't have the main event of their first show be a "Tune in next week to find out" match. Should have had them go longer, before Tessa attempted homicide. Also, Tessa vs Santana doesn't really need attempted homicide right away to hook people.

Is David McLane really involves? Isn’t he a major carny even by wrestling’s standards?

So finally got around to watching this....and not bad
Like someone else said lol at Kiera Hogan having wayy more character here than she has in her entire time in Impact.
the production has definet touches of LU influence
And now for a few moments of irritation one thing I hated and idk why no company except LU understands this....STOP AKNOWLEDING THE VINGETTE!! as soon as McLane aknowleded the Kiera vingette I immediately just thought to myself....you were so close and then u go and do that.
And the other thing I disliked was while it was hilarious about Tessa trying to kill Santanas father by depriving him of oxygen...but I really wish companies would take their time to establish the world a company exsists in first before ya know START TRYING ATTEMPTED MURDER IN A PUBLIC SETTING! and leaving people asking why Tessa wasn't hauled off to prison for attempted murder.

But, get new commentators before the next tapings, please.

Between too much Tessa, Jessie Jones (keep politics out of wrestling, please, some of us use the medium as escapism), and some pretty mediocre matches, I wasn't as keen on the show this week.
