How much schadenfreude is a lethal dose? I'm a little bit worried for my health.

She hasn't even said the stupidest thing on the issue of TNA's ratings. Josh Matthews literally claimed that nobody except wrestling fans care about TV ratings. This is as uplifting and "I'm going to make the best of this situation" a way to look at it as you can get, and for someone for whom TNA is a genuinely big step up in exposure from the scattered indie bookings she was working before, this is still a big deal. Not going to begrudge someone for trying to put a spin on it when they're at least not insulting or condescending anyone in the process. This is still leagues ahead of 95% of TNA people trying to stick up for bad news. She bragged that of all the millions and millions of people in the United States, only ten thousand watched them. That would be like a musician bragging that only a thousand people attended one of his shows in a fifty thousand seat stadium. You're trying way harder than she did to spin this

Damn, that's like preseason WNBA where only the backups played on CSPAN2 type numbers.

I'm not really seeing where this is something to mock them over? It's basically a poor situation they're in entirely due to inherited problems from previous people running the company despite putting on a better (granted I still don't think particularly good) product and what she said while maybe a little tone deaf really isn't unreasonable at all.

The Impact episode was their 3rd highest stream viewership they've had so far, after Jan 17 2018 and April 6 2018.
It's the 8th highest viewer count of any wrestling on Twitch, with 2017 and 2018's Triplemania being the top two.

I only know NFL games average between 25K-35K viewers on twitch.

76k and 47k for 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Also, people need to understand that this is not the 90's Monday Night Wars and that ratings are not the be-all, end-all measure of success... especially in this situation.

One thing that couldn’t have helped ratings that I just realized... I’m looking on the DirecTV guide to set it to record this week (forgot last week) and instead of it being listed as one two-hour block, it’s listed as 4 separate half-hour shows. So even if you have it set to record the entire series, it only records the first half hour because the other 3 are listed as reruns of the first half-hour.
I don’t know if it was the same way last week, but if it was, I’m sure that wasn’t good for them.

Sinclair don't publicize the ratings that RoH draw, the closest I've come to actual ratings numbers is a comparison in an investor PDF on their site that said they do the same numbers as a news report on CNBC at that time of night which isn't exactly groundbreaking, AXS won't disclose ratings for NJPW because the channel itself doesn't get huge numbers. Wrestling on minor channels doesn't draw huge ratings, so I'm not sure why anyone expected Impact to break that streak on the 'Killing Kritters' channel.

Meltzer: The first TV show on Pursuit was on 1/11. We don’t have a viewer number but that is a very low-rated station so it won’t be much. The only Twitch numbers we have is that the Impact station had 20,000 viewers throughout the day total on 1/11 and 19,000 on 1/12, which was up a little from the 5,000 to 10,000 most days. So it’s not like there are a ton of people watching the show on that platform.

Sinclair is one of the biggest local tv providers of the country, the fact that they’re competing with CNBC is quite remarkable. They’re no joke, AXS on the other hand is somewhat of a joke but not as much as the “you’re a pussy if you don’t like this rotten deer” channel.
