I still can't figure out how to watch the new episodes on Twitch. Do I need to sign up for an account? I found the episodes but there's nothing to click on to watch.

Not an amazing situation when you can't get people to watch your show legitimately for free on a non-scuzzy streaming site. TNA's product just isn't landing with a lot of people. Considering they got a bunch of LU guys who I believe LU does really well with a 18-35 demographic, it's weird they can't get them to turn into Twitch as those are the people who will watch stuff on Twitch
It's going to be interesting to see how long they think the waiting game will last. Yes, the goal is to get yourself a nice base and go from there but can you expect a drastic change in numbers in 6 months to a year
It is smart to let people do their own commentary but the flip side you're going have people wanting to join along to make fun of the product than the ones who genuinely care. As soon as that feature is turned off, how many of those people will stick around?

I think it's in part that people just aren't being motivated by TNA's product at all. A 25% drop in your second live week speaks to even the small number of people giving them a chance not really eagerly sticking around for more. Even if there was a strong desire to see the LU guys, I don't think TNA is utilizing them in a way that's going to appeal to people who want to see more of them. I don't think there will even be that strong a contingent of people trying to riff on TNA and getting too far with it; there's very little to really mock in the current product and definitely not in a way that could sustain a whole show commentary riff, so I'm sure a few small channels will try and just say "This is shitty and sucks, you suck, you're gay Johnny Impact", and they'll get like three people watching them. I just feel like there's nothing to give them any buzz right now and what they're putting out isn't sustaining any, but they don't have the security blanket that say WWE does of a reliable few million viewers consistently tuning in. At this point any growth at all is a blessing because all their numbers are trending downward.

Yea, the ultimate sad thing is Callis and his crew may have grabbed Impact 2 years too late because while the product is on the boring but decent side of things, they aren't gaining anything and just trending backwards

Lets think for a moment, the main event was LAX vs OvE, i feel its clear that no one cares about OvE ,let alone seeing them main event. Besides the first Pursuit show had Steiner(who also does well when he returns due to nostalgia).

TNA's current ratings fell like the youtube money episode from south park. Worthless.

They were doing a hundred thousand viewers or more in Pop. Going to pursuit and twitch ain't good at all. Pop pushed Impact to 10 pm and hardly promoted the show. Impact actually did a good move placing the show on Twitch while most people wouldn't have Pursuit available. The show is steadily increasing viewers week after week and bringing in subsscriptions. Not the best at the moment, but they're making lemonade with lemons.

How many people have Twitch? Potentionally, everyone with access to the internet. 10,000 of those watch Impact...

I'm not. Isn't Raw and Smackdown behind a massive paywall because of being on Sky Sports 3 or something like that whereas 5Spike is just on basic cable?

I thought 5Spike was a downgrade from Challenge TV(and the reason they got kicked out of it was due to the quality, viewership?).

It's a bit of a downgrade, but when it was on Challenge, it was always on a massive delay, like about a 3-4 day delay. Dixie hated that because of the mythical spoilers and caused a rift between them and Challenge and thus the cancellation. Right now the ratings are about where they were when they left Challenge at around 150,000 or so viewers.

Also, Challenge is on Free TV whereas 5Spike is on Cable, so it's about right numbers wise.
